"This will be my new go to stop on the way up the 1. Not only is the hotel conveniently located right off the 1 but it is very clean and the owners are absolute sweet hearts! I’m super picky and always inspect the sheets before I get in bed by pulling the covers all the way back and they were all clean, no hairs or stains. The room smelled good and the LVP floors gave it an updated look. I really appreciated that they had a family room that slept 6. As a family of 5 we always encounter hotels that want us to book 2 rooms. It was great to have an extra large room with 3 queen beds for a reasonable price. I REALLY appreciated the extra touches like the large cookies provided upon check in and the free breakfast consisting of a variety of bread, coffee and pop tarts! They had a Lego display which my son loved! Parking felt secure. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend you do as well! "

"This facility is pet friendly, which is why we stayed here. The room was clean, and well stocked with coffee maker and coffee supplies, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. We stayed for 3 nights, and housecleaning was done by request only, so the garbage baskets were never emptied. Unfortunately, in the afternoon/evening, our room was almost unbearably hot. There was a ceiling fan in the room, but it did nothing to cool the room down. Fortunately, I'd brought a small table fan along for the white noise, and that helped a bit to circulate and cool the air. The room did not cool down until late in the evening with the sliding glass door open and both fans going. We stayed here in late March, so I would hesitate to stay here in the summer when the temp is above 78 degrees unless you like hot rooms. "

"This is the place to stay if you are visiting San Simeon or Cambria. It is only about six minutes away from Hearst Castle and another four minutes to get up to viewing the elephant seals. All of the staff is super friendly and attentive to anything you need. The breakfast is something to write home about: eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereals, fruit: everything you might want. (Did I mention the cookies? Upon check-in or anytime you want to wander to the lobby for a cup of coffee and a cookie.). The pool was warm, even in March, and the hot tub was perfect. There’s even a table fire-pit for chilly nights or mornings. "

"This is a pleasant hotel in the new San Simeon. Walking distance to the beach, but no direct access from the property. Several restaurants on the same street and across the highway. A pleasant surprise: a private jacuzzi (jet bathtub) in each room! Bring your favorite foam bath."
