"Enjoyed having balcony with chairs. Would prefer having used towels removed and clean towels added daily and waste baskets emptied daliy and bed sheets straightened before returning to room after being out all day enjoying the beach. Staff will only provide services if you ask them to. Was not reminded of their policy. Would stay here again."

"Coffee is made too weak. But the rest of breakfast is great. For an older property, the room was in good shape, clean and stocked. Bed was comfortable. Stayed 2 nights on a solo trip to Hearst Castle. Be aware there are 2 sections - the back section is 2 story with. O elevator, so if carrying suitcases is a challenge - say it before you book. I got lucky that the front desk could change my room when I checked in. Would return again."
