"Absolutely loved our stay in St Ives. Green Apple b&b exceeded all expectations and we will definitely be back. Adrian is a truly wonderful host who made us feel comfortable at all times and nothing was too much trouble. He was always available when we needed him and extremely pleasant to talk to. He is very clued up about the area, this helped us a lot. We also aren't the type of family who would normally eat continental breakfast as we prefer a full english, but it was so lovely! "Great location, excellent breakfast and very attentive hosts. Very disappointed by the size of the room - the Heligan is tiny - just enough room for the bed and very little wardrobe space - so had to keep my clothes in my case and it was a squeeze in and out of the bathroom - which has an opaque window - so if you dont mind seeing your partner on the loo then its ok. For a room described as 'deluxe' with a kingsize bed it was a let down, having travelled 300 miles to get there. Overall though...

"Lovely Easter break! The 'Owl' room was ideal for the four of us, as has bunks for the kids & a fabulous super-king bed. Superb Breakfasts & Sunday roast served by hosts Dave, Jackie & their team. 5 min drive from St Ives, didn't cause us an issue. This is quite a remote spot so would need a car as not much within walking distance. Excellent base for touring the extreme 'Pointy end' "

Perfect stay in St Ives Beach Resort
"We stayed in the 2-beds chalet for 4 nights while touring around Cornwall. The place was great, we were a bit concerned after reading some reviews but the accommodation exceeded our expectations, all the staff members were very nice, it was clean in the chalet, and around the resort. The beautiful sandy beach was within walking distance. Although we didn't attend any of the organised evening entertainments (just not our thing), we could see that people were enjoying it. Great thing was that Lidl was "just around the corner" so if you decide to make your own breakfast/meals, food shopping is not a problem. The only minus for us (some of us was relying on roaming) was the lack of WiFi in the chalet, and the only place where it was accessible was the bar. All in all, an excellent place to stay and we will definietly stay there again if we ever come back to Cornwall."
