"Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Aber leider gibt es kein Restaurant. Cafe schließt um 15:00 Uhr. Man kann nur in das Restaurant am Golfplatz (ca. 300 m entfernt) gehen. Das schließt während der Woche leider auch schon um 17:00 Uhr. Es bleibt also nur eine Autofahrt nach Grado."
"Die Bilder auf den Onlineportalen sind leider etwas irreführend. Der Pool ist z.b. bei einem anderen Hotel in der Straße, das aber zu der selben Hotelgruppe gehört. Dafür muss man ganz ehrlich sagen, ist das Frühstück der Hammer und auch sonst ist der Service TOP!!! Fahrräder zum Ausleihen und freundlich bei allen Fragen rund um den Aufenthalt. Ganz klar Empfehlenswert!"
"We arrived very early but Leah allowed us to check in immediately and she opened the dining area in case we were hungry. She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store."

"The Savoia Excelsior Palace Trieste provided an overall excellent experience. The check in was extremelly fast. They stored our luggage for us to have lunch while waiting for our check in time. Staff was extremelly friendly and helpful. They recommended excellent places to visit within walking distance as well as dining that was superb. Great location. We felt safe walking at night. "This high end hotel has no unnecessary decorations. The simple interior design consisting of aluminum, marble (the real one), and mirrors let the 180 degree view of the Adriatic Sea speak for itself. The breakfast service was excellent, and all receptionists (except for one grumpy guy) were kind, pleasant, helpful and friendly. My wife and I enjoyed evening swimming in the Adriatic Sea after my business was over. A surreal and beautiful experience we have had. "

"Hotel was excellent with helpful front of house staff. Location worked for us as we could easily walk into the town center. Breakfast was very good. Only irritation was that while it is a non-smoking hotel they allow smoking on balconies and don’t separate those who want to do so from others. We had smokers next door and this precluded us getting fresh air and using the balcony.
