"This is our second visit to Blue Horizon. Another fantastic stay, felt like coming home. Love the addition of the summer room, especially great on a rainy day. Lots of walking routes directly from the property. We explored Portland, the quarry park, walking to Portland Bill along the coastal path. Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property."

"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"We had a great weekend here with friends, lots of space inside and out and so close to the beach and other local activities. The hosts were great at communicating and we had no issues during our stay. Although we had a bit of a surprise when the 2.5 bathrooms turned out to be 1 shower room and 2 small loo rooms without any loo role - which for a house accommodating 12 was not what we had anticipated! "

" It's a great spot for a few days in Poole, quirky little house with two sets of stairs (you'll need to be able manage them or you'll be stuck!)Has everything you need though the TV reception was a bit patchy. As we hired a car the garage is good to have - the Ford Kuga was a bit of a squeeze but it did fit.Would stay there again if we are back in Poole."

"We enjoyed staying in this recently modernised house in Highcliffe, with a downstairs bedroom for someone with limited mobility and very flexible living accommodation. Especially inviting was the garden which was great for a drink in the afternoon/evening. Within walking distance of Highcliffe castle and cafe, there are also plenty of places to see and eat nearby. "Unfortunately the house was not clean. Shoes needed to be worn as the floors were not clean enough to wear just socks. There wasn’t enough cutlery for all of us to eat.
