"We enjoyed this as our final stay in Norway after 2 weeks. It was idyllic, scenic, and we loved the hens and chicks free ranging on the property! So cute. The only confusion was that there isn't any signage directing you where to go when you arrive. We accidentally went to the door of their main home that is pictured in the Expedia listing, instead of the home that is the rental described. I had to message them when we arrived for clarification. Other than that, the stay was very relaxing....

"Overall, we had a really good stay. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, well-equipped, and in a great location close to the city center with good transport links. A couple of things could be improved. We were surprised that we had to make the beds ourselves, as it’s the first time we’ve experienced that in an apartment. "The location is great but is up a steep hill or many steps. The street is beautiful, as is the neighbourhood and the bed is comfortable. I’m sure the accommodation was perfect when it was set up but now I think it needs a bit of a retouch as it’s a bit dated. Cleanliness: not ideal. When we arrived there was old food left in the fridge, food stains on the wall and old food left on the scrubbing brush. Furniture: the aim is clearly for a cozy feel but the organisation could be vastly improved....

"Huge amount of stairs to get to property. Bed was not comfortable. When we picked up keys from lock box for the building and apartment, the keys to the apartment did not open the door -- frustrating after a long day of travel and climbing four flights of stairs. The owner did not take responsibility and more or less accused us of not knowing how to use a key. Just saying "I'm sorry for the mistake" would have worked."
