"This was a great location for staying in Montepulciano--right on one of the main walking streets, Gracciano nel Corso. Our host Amadeo went above and beyond helping us get around, trying to park the car, with restaurant recommendations, etc. Our room had a quiet patio attached, which was pleasant at night. "Upon arrival and making it into the building, we were faced with 3 rooms. We had no idea which room was ours and none of our emails from SCP indicated the name of our room. We had to write and wait for info. We were in the Lorenzo room which was down a dreaded, tight spiral staircase. "The room was spacious and romantic and typical the history of the time, but mechanical problems forced us to move to a different location. He hosts were gracious and quick to solve the problems and moved us to a location better than the first at no additional cost. The only downside was that we stayed on a Friday night and there was noise outside of the new location. Cortona is a beautiful and quiet town well worth a visit."
