If you show the taxi driver "Fairmont Beijing" with address (in English) at the airport, they have no idea what it is... Expedia needs to improve this. Its location is great and staff are great, but it also has combination of classic elegance and quality that many other hotels lack. It’s not ostentatious, but everything is super high quality from the breakfast to the rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful and I like that is in the river. My only suggestion are that the beds could probably use new mattresses. But they are still quite good. "
