"Nice hotel with good spa facilities close to Stockon Heath if you want an evening out. We didn't use the hotel bar or restaurant so I can't comment on those"

"A great hotel for a stop en route to Scotland. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. We ate in the Bar area. Food was good. We didn’t use the leisure facilities. Only downside for us was there was no electric car charging facilities, but according to reception this may be a future addition."

"What a fantastic location for a hotel. Once off the main road the atmosphere of the grounds and parking area are calm, tranquil and very pleasant. A wonderful place to stop. Walking into the hotel is like walking into a five star premises. A lovely warm welcome from the staff which continued through out our stay. Our room was excellent, the facilities were excellent (the swimming pool was closed :-(). The Bar and Restaurant were very inviting, professional, the drinks were well kept and the wine selection was brilliant. The pint of Boddingtons was like vinegar but the bar member of staff changed it immediately. The food in the restaurant was exception quality and good size portions. A very welcome break on our journey of 600 miles from Scotland. We would have stayed here again but within five days of our stay the price of our room had doubled due to school holidays starting. Otherwise 10/10 to Holiday Inn and THANK YOU to all the professional, friendly and courteous staff for a wonderful stay"

"Frequently stay her to visit family in the area. Bars great breakfast is good staff are professional and friendly. The place is looking tired in many areas. Stairwell windows need cleaning. We stayed on the top floor. There were water stains on the ceiling and window reveals and just general shabbiness. But beds we’re comfortable and the room was clean"

"2 night stay, family room. Was very basic but had what was needed, room & area could have done with a fresh paint. There was a lot of staff around, majority of them seemed like they were new so not quite sure what was going on. Slow service to order dinner, but again this was due to new staff. All as helpful as they could have been with anything asked & if they didn’t know something would go find out."
