"My first trip to Costa Rica and San Jose was a success thanks to choosing Lolas as my place to stay. Its convenient walking street was very safe and convenient to museums, shots, and restaurants. There was an affordable garage around the corner, but I didn’t have a car. The facilities were pristine, with great common areas for congregating and dining. The responsiveness and level of service was incredible. I had a prove room, it was great. I really had such a wonderful time. I cannot recommend...

"Really good place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of the city where the locals are. Even with the hustle and bustle of the area really quite hotel. I stayed in the hostel which is good for 1 or 2 nights. Was also allowed to check in early. Museums are really close to the hotel. As well as el mercado central. "

"I am grateful for the amazing affordability of this hostel which was also paired with a low-key easy-going atmosphere. When I was told that there would be “a pancake” in the morning I wasn’t expecting much but I was happily surprised to discover that this pancake was very large, neither over cooked nor under cooked and it was decorated with two different fruits on top along with syrup of course. Thank you! I’m so grateful."

"Location was good for needing to get to airport quickly. Upon initial entry to room everything looked nice and clean. Dropped luggage and then promptly left to see friend. When returning later found that the sheets were covered in hairs...probably dog or cat, at least that is what I hope it was. Grossed out but it was late at night and not in mood to have it changed. Swapped beds with friend."

"We were in Grecia to celebrate our anniversary and visit friends. Villa Cipreses was an oasis in a hot and humid land. Our room was dated but clean and although they advertised air conditioning there was none. Fortunately we had our own fan with us so we were able to stay comfortable. The restaurant was great and we enjoyed the overall beauty of the blue hydrangeas and other plantings on the property. the owners of the property seem surprised when we arrived but they did provide accommodations...

"Very friendly staff who were super accommodating — they extended checkout time by 90 minutes when I needed to work remotely from a quiet place. The breakfast was nice -- make-your-own eggs and pancakes -- and the common areas were great to hang out in. One word of caution: They didn't have a record of my Expedia reservation when I arrived, so if at all possible, call and confirm they've received it."

"El hotel está genial, súper cómodo. Ideal para arrivo/partida hacia/desde SJO. La habitación es muy bonita, amplia, la cama muy cómoda, así como almohadas y sábanas. Cuenta con refrigerador, escritorio, cafetera y una pequeña área de descanso. El desayuno es completo, de mejor calidad que en otros hoteles en los alrededores. Localizado contiguo a un gran centro comercial cerquita del aeropuerto, cuentan con shuttle ida y vuelta al mismo sin coste. El único detalle en contra es que la inclinación del piso de la ducha hacia el desagüe es mínima, por lo que el agua indefectiblemente termina regándose por todo el baño (saludos al estudio de ingenieros y arquitectos que la diseñó)."
