Nice kitchen in my room, which I didn't use as I was traveling for work but would have been used & appreciated otherwise. Easy walking distance to State St and the Funk Zone. Top rated all around. "

"The location of this hotel is perfect, especially for the price. Great location, a block from the beach. This is an older hotel (set up like a Motel) but is pretty well updated. However it’s still clearly an older property. The bed needs an update and the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. However I would definitely stay here again. The staff were really nice and accommodating and you really can’t beat the location. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! This is an exceptionally well maintained property, and it's clearly well managed. The King suite we stayed in was comfortable. Love that there are windows that can be opened for fresh air. Cute and clean pool, lovely seating areas, super convenient location. The only small complaints were no recycling bins anywhere!! So we ended up taking our recycling home with us. Also there could be more hooks or rods to hang up wet bathing suits and towels in the bathroom. That would be so easy- just put them on the back if the bathroom door and / or on the wall in the bathroom. We would totally return. "
