Nice hotel for the price 👏

During our trip to Guatemala in August 2026, we stayed at Hotel Tikal Futura to celebrate my brother’s birthday. It was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The security team made us feel safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel offers fantastic amenities, including a beautiful pool, gym, massage services, and a shopping mall right next door, with a movie theater nearby! The food was absolutely delicious! Our...

Sophie helped my son and I have safe travels in Guatemala! We were winging it and she helped guide us in a safe direction and gave us great suggestions! Rosa made a great breakfast and was always there if we needed anything! the place was absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend Casa Carmel b&b!

Todo bien me gusto el lugar con un toque antiguen̈o bonito.

Professional staff. Clean rooms. Nice ambience. A good refresher from the countless, monotonous hotels in Zona 1. Tranquil and uniquely designed at a fair price.

This property was great! The manager was very friendly and accommodating as we were not locals in the area. We will return!

The people were super nice. Because of a flight delay we didn’t check in until 1 am but they were still super friendly and accommodating.

👍

Great service…..

The property was absolutely beautiful. Availability was great, the only thing that I will remark on is that there is not a pool in the hotel or any other surrounding hotels. I went searching for an outdoor pool and could not find one in the area of Cayala. That is the only thing I would recommend. Any pool that could be shared by that hotel and others would be great. Not the AC hotel's fault, will always choose this hotel line.

Room is simple very basic. Two electrical outlets in the room. Plus an additional one in the bathroom. No cooling system, so the drapes need to be drawn to avoid overheating. Property is three stories without an elevator. Staff really accommodating in locating you on a lower floor on request. Staff was very personably and knew me by name. Bed is firm I found it to be reasonably comfortable. This was a second visit and the Capri is my first choice. A nice addition would be a mini fridge. Although...

Hotel Metropolitano is great! I was visiting Guatemala City for a long weekend on a solo tourist trip and was looking for an inexpensive, centrally-located hotel. Hotel Metropolitano was perfect. My room was comfortable and clean. It was a short walk to the tourist sites in central Guatemala City. The service was wonderful - everyone that I came across was kind and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel for those looking for a budget friendly hotel in the city.

Great value hotel. Right in a safe central part of the city. Thousands of people outside but you would never know it. Walking distance to bus stations and the Central Park. Good breakfast included. Nice helpful staff.

Exceptional service and comfort. Leo, the fromt desk attendant is very helpful and will go out of his way for guests.

Jorge was very nice. He actually drove me to get some food. The place was very quite. I only stayed one night because I was headed to El Salvador the next day. A good place to just reoax and sleep.
