Recently, Casa del Sol has been freshly painted in a warm, sunny yellow. Just as its name suggests, it gives the home an even brighter, more cheerful, and more welcoming tropical feel.

Its perfect location, only 30 minutes from the International Airport, 1 hour from the Pacific beaches, and centrally positioned near Costa Rica’s main attractions, makes Casa del Sol an ideal vacation getaway. The center of this charming town is just a 10-minute drive away, where you’ll find a great selection of restaurants, bakeries, a weekly farmers’ market, and well-stocked grocery stores.

Casa del Sol comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The home features a colorful tropical style, a spacious open floor plan, and spectacular high vaulted wooden ceilings. Large glass windows offer beautiful views from every angle, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, blender, and ample cabinet space.

The main suite is spacious and offers stunning mountain views overlooking mature tropical trees, often visited by birds such as toucans and motmots. The two guest bedrooms share a second bathroom.

The home combines vibrant colors, Costa Rican art, and a relaxed tropical atmosphere, making it perfect for a well-deserved vacation.

The crystal-clear pool is just steps away and ideally positioned to enjoy sunlight throughout the day, naturally warming the water to a comfortable temperature for swimming and relaxing. Two covered patios: essential in Atenas, allow you to enjoy outdoor living year-round.

The home is truly a bird lover’s paradise, with views over the valley, bird-rich trees, and nearby hills and mountains. The home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with only one neighboring house across the street.

Our property managers, Klaas and Sandra de Graaf, a multilingual couple (English, Dutch, and Spanish) from the Netherlands, will warmly welcome you and ensure you have a wonderful stay. They can arrange grocery pre-stocking or a freshly prepared home-cooked meal upon arrival.

As an additional service, we offer airport pick-up and drop-off (for a fee) to make your arrival and departure as smooth as possible. We also assist with car rentals and offer a wide range of tours throughout Costa Rica, including visits to Poás and Arenal Volcanoes, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, catamaran tours, coffee farms, zip-lining, ATV adventures, white-water rafting, horseback riding, surfing, and more.
