"The perfect beach vibe for Santa Teresa! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and created the beach vibe experience! I stayed in the treehouse which was very cool! No AC in the treehouse ( other rooms do have AC) but the fans keep the temperature at night reasonable. About a 4 minute walk to the beach and in the heart of many restaurants! I highly recommend! "

I had a chance to visit Santa Teresa for a friends wedding. It's a small dusty surf town located on the Pacific Ocean side of Costa Rica on the Nicoya Peninsula. It's pretty laid back and simple however it's home to some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica and has been hailed as world-class surfing spot and popular yoga retreat destination. The town itself is just a stretch of road consisting mostly of small shops, sodas (family run restaurants), and plenty of places to rent ATVs. Despite it's difficulty to get to it's slowly becoming a travel destination with talk paving the access roads in the coming years. #AquaTrove

"April is the most helpful host ever! Donā€™t hesitate to ask her anything!! If you are looking for a remote getaway and time to unplug and unwind then this is your place. There is AC in the bedroom but we never turned it on bc sleeping to waves, rain and jungle sounds was so much better. The kitchen and bathroom are inside-ish. Not completely closed off which is just perfect when you love the outdoors! Rent a quad for sure. No need for a car. April arranged quad rental, massages and transport from airport to the house! Hope to be back some day!"
