"Betalade extra för kök..det fanns ingen spis, och när vi kom dit blev vi upplysta om att det var förbjudet att laga mat på rummet. Vi hade dubbelrum, men fanns bara en stoll (som dessutom var trasig). Varmvatten fanns oftast inte, och aldrig varmvatten på morgonen. Mycket störande oväsen om nätterna, hemmasnickrade sängar med ojämna ben."

"Very cool property. Apartment was comfortable for 4 adults and rooftop pool area was amazing. Great location too! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again here! "

"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, and I am very grateful for that. They even allowed me to have a late check-out. The room was spacious, but unfortunately, it had no view — just a view of the parking lot. I absolutely loved the gym and the indoor swimming pool, and I also found the breakfast to be amazing! Overall, I had a great time and would definitely stay again."

"The property has 2 buildings. The rooms from 24 up are on the upper hill and are closer to the pool and have astonishing views, either over the ocean and Porto Santo, or over Santana, with mountain and ocean. Hard to decide. The food at restaurant is better than many Funchal ones. The only draw back is the fact that the add stated they have microwave, coockware, and dishes, but they had in the room only a kettle. "Remote location but a great view. Problem-free arrival and check-in (despite a delay on our part). The room was clean and equipped with the most necessary. Unfortunately, the room was cleaned only once during our stay and was extremely damp. Many of the advertised services (e.g. breakfast, restaurant, etc.) were no longer offered. "Check-in was very easy and it was a 20 minute ride from the airport. The breakfast buffet had all kinds of food available and I never went hungry. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a pretty good location. There are dining options within a ten minute walk and a small grocery store (SPAR) that is also a ten minute walk in case you forgot something. "

"This was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the ocean right from the window. When we arrived, the children were greeted with lovely welcome gifts, which made the experience even more special. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The outdoor saltwater pool had a very comfortable temperature, and the nearby hot-water Jacuzzi was a perfect place to relax. There’s also a warm indoor pool inside the hotel, ideal for children and great for any weather. If I ever dreamed of coming back to Madeira, it would definitely be to this hotel. It offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere"

"We loved staying at Enotel Sunset Bay. Ponta do Sol is a fantastic location on Madeira. The hotel is right in front of the ocean and beach and all rooms have ocean views.We stayed on the 4th floor in the seaview rooms with balcony. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well-equiped. The 4th floor is where the roof top deck is located. It was a great place to soak in some sunshine and relax after a day of hiking. The indoor pool was also a bonus. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with lots of great choices. There is free underground parking, but it is somewhat difficult to get into and can get full. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and I highly recommend."
