"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "

"The 2 different Receptionist were very amiable. The Cleaner, was also helpful in getting my TV to work. The Shower not so good, as the water did not go down until I’d finished & was out of the cubicle. I therefore had to shower in a tray full of soapy, used, water. Which isn’t very nice. I did report this. But obviously this was as I was leaving ( I was only there the 1night.) "

"We stayed at the Almada for 4 nights. Check in was easy and concierge friendly. The room itself is large and has a fridge and kitchenette and good AC. Location is perfect, near transportation and in middle of shopping, restaurants, attractions. Despite being in middle of things the place was very quiet. We stayed in room 52. The stairs up to the bed are steep and small so you have to use the wall and shot side rail to walk down and have lights on. Would not suggest to get room with the stairs to...

"This hostel is AMAZING! The property is super well-maintained and modern. Everything is squeaky clean and it smells great. The staff are incredibly warm and inviting from the minute you step in the door. I could not recommend this place enough if you want great value for your money. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. We had a sink and shower in our room. The shared toilets were always spotless. Location was very walkable and close to nightlife. We will definitely stay here again...
