"There are no houses visible on this side of the river. The view to the other side is incredible. The location is quiet and peaceful. The owner was very accommodating and any of our needs were met quickly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautify place to stay in the valley."

Great walking path, very clean, private rooms and multiple places to just hang out and enjoy the peaceful view of the river. A car is helpful for visiting Porto but we had a car and used FreeNow and Uber instead because they were cheaper than Porto parking. Everything in the apartment is as advertised and more."

Our hosts, Elsa and Philipe, were wonderful. They provided a welcome bottle of Port, along with tasty pastel de natas (look it up if you don't know what they are).
