"Don't trust your GPS. For some reason Google maps and the GPS in the vehicle did not correspond. Apparently this is a common occurrence in this area. Got lost, but owner sent someone right away who took us to the house. Once you know your location, it's easy to get around. Multiple small towns within driving distance (15-20 min) in the area with a lot of history things to do and see. Cant swim in the ocean in front of the house. Great beaches nearby."

"When I booked this place I did not realize that it had such a spectacular view and is located in such a beautiful setting. The house itself has some challenges; squeaky floors, no door on one of the bedrooms (really just an alcove), oven with no temperature gauge- but the location more than makes up for these things, The owners are lovely and we managed to communicate without speaking the same language. There were some issues going through a third party with messages, especially on arrival but...

"We were down in the Algarve's for a while before for a wedding. We stayed here 3 nights and was delighted with our hosts care and service of our stay. They met us and gave us keys on our arrival. The son gave me a few points of interest that we could consider visiting on our stay. He highly recommended a particular location and restaurant that was outstanding and we've ver appreciative of his recommendations. Our hostess spoke French and Portuguese and we only spoke English but we had no issues...
