"Delightful Old European Palace Hotel with beautiful premises and absolutely awesome staff and an awesome breakfast buffet and great traditional Portuguese cuisine - in one of Portugal’s most undiscovered but magnificent mountaineous area with stunning ancient stone villages out of medieval movie - I can only recommend you take a couple of days to come visit this area and stay at this beautiful hotel"

"I booked this hotel for my parents and they were very happy with their stay. They were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. They were pleasantly overwhelmed by the variety of items at their breakfast buffet. They wanted to stay longer but had other places pre-booked. They would stay here again for future visits. "Don’t think it about it, book it! This was the best surprise of our trio to Portugal - the cutest little house in the most amazing mountain top village. You literally felt like you were going back in time, but with all the modern conveniences. The host contacted us to let us know that check in process and through WhatsApp, got us sorted. Our offhand comment that we had to leave early and may need to miss breakfast resulted in them showing up early and having everything ready for us. Breakfast was delicious and the view awe-inspiring! If you’re looking for a retreat…this is it!"

"We absolutely loved our time in Talasnal. The village was amazing, such a beautiful place. The home itself was perfect for our family. This was a great location for us as we traveled to Coimbra, Tomar, and the Batahla Monastery while we stayed here. Joao Pedro was so responsive and kind, he was a great host. Highly recommend!"

"It is a unique property, I have never seen a hotel like that. Each house is different and it is part of the restored village. Every morning we were getting a freshly baked bread and a cake delivered to our little house. The property itself is very beautiful. The host Priscilla is very welcoming warm and hospitable. 10 stars all the way!!!"

"Beautiful unusual property in peaceful hillside location, looking onto the forest. Enjoy watching the birds swoop, the view and the quiet! Easy day trips to Condeixa, Azeiro, Porto and Coimbra, but lazing by the pool is also wonderful! "
