"Very disappointed with the room as we booked a sea view -we were on the 4th but there was a ledge leading off our balcony - and the bushes growing there were so high that when we sat down we could only see these and not the ocean. Also whilst getting dressed in the room a gardener walked across our balcony which was very uncomfortable as the curtains are black outs so need to be left open. On the second morning we thought would have our tea standing by the balcony railings so we could see the sea but the gardener was working on the bushes outside the balcony next to ours so we couldn’t do this either. On check out I told the receptionist I had some feedback and before I could start she immediately said she knew exactly what I was going to say as they’d had complaints already about this room. She was very polite and said had we complained straight away they would have moved us, I should have asked why we were given this one if other rooms were available. As we didn’t realise on arrival only the following morning about the view and we were only there 2 more nights we didn’t want the hassle of complaining and trying to move rooms as we assumed if there were any others free we wouldn’t have been given this one. It’s a shame as the hotel was really lovely, breakfast was great as were all the staff but there are plenty of hotels to choose from with ocean views whereas with this one you may end up paying for only a ‘partial’ view"
