Tulip Inn Leiden Centre

8/10 Good

"I was happy with the room, which included a large, comfortable bed and a convenient desk. But I didn't like that there were no insect screens in the windows, forcing one to choose between having the lights on at night and sleeping in a hot room. The coffee cups were so poorly designed that the average person's finger wouldn't fit through the handle and that you burn your finger holding the cup. A fridge would have been nice too, but you get what you pay for."

"The staff were superfriendly throughout my stay had a small hiccup with my AC not working but swiftly resolved by the team. Bed and pillows so comfy and the shower was amazing too. Lots of public spaces to sit down in. Didn't try breakfast as it was too much food for me. But they had a great deal for coffee and pastry for €5 which was perfect Bus stop on the corner takes you to city centre in 10 or do minutes very cheaps runs regularly even weekends and evening"

NH Noordwijk Conference Centre Leeuwenhorst

"We love staying at the Leeuwenhorst. It has a lot to offer. Free parking, it has beautiful woods behind the hotel for exercise and walks. The breakfast buffet has tons of good breakfast options. The sauna and gym is great to have on-site. It is located close to Noordwijk aan Zee."

"The rooms are located right at the walking center of Leiden in a lovely restored building on one of the loveliest canals. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Turn left out the door to the public market and the main shopping streets. Turn right to the lovely Pieterskerk (c 1221), many nice restaurants on the Cloksteg and the old academic buildings of the venerable Leiden University and it’s famous gardens."

Two Brothers Noordwijk Beach

8/10 Good

"Great location, seaview and short walk to the beach and restaurants. Noordwijk has lots to offer (shops, bars, (beach)restaurants). Hotel is old and and very noisy (noisiest hotel I ever stayed in). Expect to hear neighbours walking and talking. There’s a bar downstairs so lots of noise during the night as well. If the hotel offers earplugs that’s usually not a good sign. One of our bed linen was dirty and had stains on it upon arrival. Otherwise decent hotel with very nice breakfast, however paying 300+ euro per night for a familyroom I expected better."
