Hyatt Regency Savannah

8/10 Good

"The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good but expensive. Didn't like the forced valet parking at $52 for one night plus a mysterious $28+ service fee."

River Street Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful room, Lovely view of the River. Great location , walkable to everything . Erika made our check-in exceptional . Very friendly and informative. Love the manager reception every night, the Candy, popcorn and champagne in the lobby every night, coffee in the AM, water in the lobby. The toiletry choices were great. Overall great experience, Valet was perfect. Only negative is our maid skipped our room one day- i went to the desk and they said they would send someone. When she arrived it seems she may struggle a bit with english- I showed her the broken blow dryer, the plaster that had fallen out of the wall onto the dresser and the leaking air conditioner that was leaking on and damaging the floor. when we returned , broken blow dryer back in bag, plaster still all over, fresh towels only."

Marriott Savannah Riverfront

8/10 Good

"The hotel was great; very clean, nice amenities, easy check in, and friendly staff. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything I needed for my work trip. The proximity to the conference center, shopping, dining, and sightseeing was great. I had one negative issue, and unfortunately, it was a significant enough to prevent my return. The hotel has posted quiet hours beginning at 10pm. However, the bar serves until midnight. The first night wasn't terrible, just the occasional loud bursts of laughter or raised voices. For the remainder of my stay, the bar played football games until last call. The noise of the game and the loud patrons echoed throughout the atrium, (which all balconies overlook) and could be clearly heard in my room. When I called the desk to inquire about why the noise was permitted to continue beyond the quiet hour, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done, as long as the bar was open. The man was very kind and polite, but it was clear that the concern was out of his hands. Needless to say, I did not sleep well and was exhausted by the end of my trip. Traveler beware - quiet hour may begin much later than advertised."
