"Great location, top facilities."

"Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again."

"Everything was good apart from 30 minute delay to check in at 3 pm and we found the bed too small"

"The grounds and hotel are spectacular looking, and the room spacious and well appointed with a comfy bed. The quality of the food was good and the staff in the main restaurant were friendly and professional. However, the hotel was very busy when we stayed and felt understaffed for the number of guests. The bar and some of the outside seating areas were untidy, with bits of food and old cups, glasses etc left lying around (including a glass left right outside our room). Getting served at the bar...

"Staff were great, breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean and pretty new looking. All round a good stay and worth the money."
