"We stayed a few years ago and it has massively improved since then.
We tried to ring to book a parking space but struggled to get an answer however there was space when we arrived.
It is in a great location.
We will definitely go back."
"Amazing old building, wonky floors everywhere, proper faded Victorian grandeur, however... The room was roasting, even with a fan and the pillows were hideous, like trying to sleep with your head on a rock,after one night and stiff neck and shoulders in the morning I went to Poundland and bought 2 pillows so I could get some sleep."
"Great location for all areas of Scarborough. If you want a no frills place to stay with on street parking costing just £8 for 24 hours this place fits the bill. Jonathan greeted us and couldn’t have been more helpful. Yes rooms are not 4 or 5 star luxury but are clean, comfortable and well appointed (great for our stay to attend a concert at the open air theatre) 15 minutes away. Tea/coffee making facilities and complementary biscuits. Value for money and the other guests we met were all polite and sociable. The only downside for us was that we had trouble getting to sleep due to the sound of the seagulls who appeared to be very loud compared to other accommodation we have stayed in (think they were trying to compete with the artists appearing on stage😂😂and certainly nothing to do with the accommodation). All in all if we attend another concert in Scarborough we would consider staying here again"
"The staff member was ver helpful but parking was troublesome as it was very tight. There was another car park around the back which was much more accessible. Have advice of places to eat in nearby area. All good. "
