Marvellous friendly ,helpful staff, good quality breakfast/evening meals , comfortable bed/pillows, fluffy towels, good selection of drinks in the bar, comfy seating in bar , fab Edwardian hotel with a must see staircase and thick plush carpets. I used multi story car park across the road Friday night to Sunday noon £21. I would certainly go back to the Royal hotel. "

"The room was really comfortable and although the property is next to the road it was very quiet. It was also easy to find which was a plus! The breakfast was excellent as well. Hopefully I'll see you again next year."

"I stayed at the Palm hotel for a business weekend. The hotel was very clean. Good choice of options for evening meals. Breakfast options were excellent. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. Really good location only five minutes drive from the railway station and minutes to the venue I was attending."
