"Overall, the stay was not terrible however, when we first checked in, the bathroom door would not close. Unfortunately, I was with my stepson and we were unable to use the bathroom or shower. I immediately went to the front desk and they sent a maintenance man up, but we inevitably had to leave for our reservations. When we got back at 11 o’clock, the door still had not been fixed nor did they let us know. When I went back to the front desk, they were trying to send the maintenance man back up at 11 o’clock PM. I asked for a new room and they inevitably agreed to move me. After we were moved, the stay was fine. It is a historical building so it’s not brand new and I don’t expect it to be. It’s nice for what it was however, I’m not certain we would stay again. "

"Best part of the experience was the staff. They were friendly and helpful and above and beyond. The staircases were dirty. The room was passable on cleanliness. They never came to clean our room for 4 nights. Not the management’s fault but the neighborhood was very noisy all weekend. I mean maybe they could done more sound insulation. "
