Auch wenn die angrenzenden Häuser nicht sehr weit entfernt sind, wird die Privatsphäre durch angrenzende Hecken geschützt. Es gibt ein recht großes Gartengrundstück. First off: The staff was phenomenal! From the front desk, to the restaurant (thanks for preparing my complimentary Tiramisu at 10:45pm!), to the cleaning crew, they were all amazing. The hotel has the best location given that is is right on the Markplatz. Easy walk to explore the town. Added bonus is the parking onsite for 10 Euros a day. This hotel is a small, family run hotel that is very lovely and restored so beautifully. The hotel is roomy, quiet, and a wonderful stay. Don't expect a lot of service extras, as reception has only a few hours a day, but they are available in case of emergencies. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil get away, this is a perfect place. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had variety from day to day as well. Highly recommend.

This is my 16th trip to Germany. The Torfhaus Resort rates as one of the best experiences that I have ever had. The location is perfect for hiking, biking, sightseeing or just relaxing.
