The Shandaken Inn is a gem of a property! Our room was spacious, spotless and so inviting. And the staff, particularly Marissa, made us feel so welcome and at home with her warm personality. The breakfasts were outstanding and the entire property is just beautiful! There are also great hiking options close by. We wouldn’t hesitate to book a room here again!

Our family stayed in multiple rooms for 2 nights in April during spring break so we could visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The hotel was one week new and in a great location. The staff was friendly, helpful and on point. They really did a great job with the guests. The pool is an average size, nice, heated, and there is an outdoor space as well. After traveling a long way I was greeted at the desk by a wonderful female staff. She provided me dinner recommendations and reminded me of the complementary beverages in the lobby. The room was very clean and there were plenty of towels. It was a little tricky to find as the road sneaks up on you even with GPS and the room was a little thin but everything else was worth it. A really nice stay and a friendly host. Tanya had good suggestions for places to eat, visit, etc. and made delicious breakfasts. She even lent me an extension cord when the venue where my band was playing didn’t have one. The rooms were great and we had our own private bath. Highly recommend!
