Unfortunately, despite roller blinds, the train line that passes right outside the front of the hotel kept me up to the wee hours and then again from dawn. Doesn't help if you like to sleep with open window. I didn't, eventhough the small and stuffy room was a bit claustrophobic with the blinds down. Shower doors on rusty tracks. Breakfast is okay, the breakfast room quite nice with a lovely winter garden."

If you looking for dinner, then The restaurant menu for dinner was very limited, a bit disappointing to be honest. If you used to courtyard Marriott and have travelled globally, then this one would be at the lower end of your experience."

Had to go down twice one time, then had to use their staff key…helpful but very annoying and time consuming. Is clean but as I said very dated. Staff offer basic service, only one there so can be slow. Location was good right next to station. But is a very small town so a short walk to another hotel is not much of a difference.
