"Excellent location, simple check in and a small cafe/bar in the lobby. If you’ve arrived by train the location Is so convenient (taking the market street exit there will be stairs). Location is also perfect for all the sights! Wifi was strong, A few steps to the room…but it’s Edinburgh and nothing is flat!"

"The hotel is in a great location right across the street from Waverly train station. Which makes it very easy to get to from the airport. The staff went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend the Market Street hotel. If I go back to Edinburgh I will definitely stay here. "

"The only criticism I have is at the official address is in the rear. So when we first arrived, our Apple Maps app sent us up the street down a side alley to the rear door. Other than that service was good, the pub connected to the lobby was excellent. Just a great experience."

"We were in room 449 with a balcony. Pros Nice hotel the staff were brilliant breakfast nice and great location. The bed really comfortable. Cons Thursday night slept like a log. The second night Friday little did we know there was a nightclub next to room. The booming from music went through your body. We phoned reception to see what time the club shut we were advised 3an. Didnt get to sleep till 3.30am. Which wasn't ideal as we had a long drive up to the highlands. And felt shattered in the morning. "
