amazing, beautiful hotel, excellent staff, very clean

The hotel is in the woods, with grassy area between hotel and trees. Our room had a patio with table and chairs. Would be a great place for quiet morning coffee. Also room for children to play outside. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.

Great location, pleasantly surprised! Convenient to downtown Bath, waterfront and restaurants

We met the staff when we checked in and had time to chat with them.... good people! First night of our stay received devastating news and had to leave. They not only refunded our unused nights , but sent an email expressing their sympathy. These are the people you want to do business with. They are outstanding! We will be back as soon as we can.

Directly across from Bowdoin, located on Maine street! Close to everything! Wonderful!

We booked our stay at The Federal just because it looked nice and seemed like a good price. What we discovered was a wonderful and chic hotel with an extremely comfortable room in a completely remodeled hotel. We’ll definitely stay at The Federal again.

Mr Patel is so kind and welcoming. I was able to check in early since my room was ready. The parking lot is spacious and I’ve always gotten a space right in front of my room. The room is super clean as are the linens. The appliances looked new and I like the breakfast in the morning as well as getting up earlier to grab a coffee if I don’t want to make it in the room. I will stay again soon when I visit my son at Bowdoin. Also the location is perfect.

Everyone was so welcoming

If you’re looking for a quaint, charming B&B in a great little town along Maine’s coast, this is the place! The house, room, food, and neighborhood were all great!

Going to the Harraseeket Inn is like time traveling, but with the option of taking a smart phone and having the electricity to charge it. It's like that movie, "Somewhere in Time," like you've walked through a time portal by the power of hypnotic suggestion and an Expedia booking. But it is very much, at the same time, part of the present. They have a pool, and the restaurant is quintessentially the definition of a timeless Maine eatery. The afternoon tea is pleasant and steeped with charm. The...

All brand new and done very nicely. Great breakfast!

Very cute B and B. Nice personal touches, snacks and extra amenities, toys for your pet, wonderful breakfast. Connie was very personable and knew alot about surrounding area. Within walking of lots of shops and restaurants. Perfect spot. Clean, would stay again.

We booked a stay at the James Place Inn based on reviews that we read on a few travel sites. I can't even begin to express how well-deserved each and every one of those reviews actually is! Robin and Tori are incredible hosts, pleasant, friendly, easy to talk to, and made us feel right at home before we even got there! We drove up from NYC on a Friday afternoon and hit more traffic than we anticipated, so we called ahead to let the staff know we'd be late. Tori answered the phone and told us...

It was just a great place to stay. Very quaint, the Inn keepers were very friendly and helpful with what to do in the surrounding areas. Lots of outlet namebrand outlet stores and of course the new LL Bean Flagship store. Which was amazing. Would definitely stay again

The staff were excellent as was the accommodations such as the indoor heated pool and the breakfast. My wife and I were above all, very blessed to be able to have our "puppy-dog," with us!

Very nice hotel

Excellent property, clean, friendly staff, beautiful views, and an amazing breakfast.
