"Fantastic location, incredible views. Quiet & peaceful, a perfect place to relax. Welcoming, helpful reception staff. Bar & restaurant felt understaffed at dinner time as service in both was slow (more a management issue as the staff present were clearly working hard). Kids menu available in restaurant only. Would visit again."

"This was my third time at Raízes da Vinha. Every time they amaze me with their friendliness. The hotel is located in a great spot with a view to the mountains, is spectacular. The rooms are clean and if something is not right the staff is quick to help you. I strongly recommend it."

"Excellent hotel in Covilhã, we visit Covilhã every couple of months for medical reasons, there are two hotels that we use, both with pools, depending upon the price at the time. This time it was Donna Marie. Excellent as always, everything works, is clean, and relaxing. The pool area is incredible, a good sized indoor pool, poolside recliners, jacuzzi and shower. The outdoor area is really cool Lots of recliners and squishy chairs & sofas with parasols ☺️ Very good breakfast buffet, the fried eggs are cooked to perfection 😋 Lots of breads, meats, eggs, veg, puddings & desserts, three coffee machines, and a yoghurt machine ! Plus free parking and its close to the centre of Covilhã 殺"
