The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The property location allowed for easy access to Paris by train and Vaux le Vicomte and Fountainebleau are both a short drive away. The property is located on the Seine river which allowed us the ability to swim in and relax by the Seine. We would definitely return to this property if our travels should ever bring us back to France.

Thank you for a one of a kind stay! The room, gardens and gallery are beautiful. Such a unique place from which to explore the Barbizon painters, and the woods which inspired them.

Beautiful hotel in close proximity to Disney Paris (and much more reasonably priced than their hotels!) Actual queen sized beds that were very comfortable! Nice sized bathroom, with tub, as well. Very nice toiletries provided and many "extras" available at the front desk if you forgot something. Staff was very kind and attentive. Would definitely reccommend!

Easy access to shops and shuttle to disney is right in front of the hotel

The location is fantastic - with views of the Fontainebleau Chateau and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was elegantly appointed, very clean, and thoughtfully presented. The beds were very comfortable and the room contained eerything we needed. We easy found uber rides to get to Vaux le Vicompte and Barbizon. This is a great family owned and run castle in the heart of the castle district. Train to Paris is walking distance as are fine restaurants.

We stayed here for a moms trip! We were slightly concerned that we were too far out of Paris, but the train was quick and clean - and it allowed us to reserve a rental car and explore the countryside! The space was perfect for 4 women - we were able to have dinner delivered to our villa after a long day - and eat comfortably at our Dining Room Table - and the food was delicious! We cannot say enough about this trendy hotel! After traveling to London, Paris and then here, it was just what we needed. The hotel has a nice vibe that you hang out in the lobby and enjoy your stay rather than stay in your room. The pizza and drinks were great! Staff were pleasant & working their rear ends off to make sure we were all taken care of! It’s a short 5 min walk to Val de l’Europe shopping mall which is also next to the RER train station. I had such an amazing time staying at this house! the owner is soooo kind and helpful and i made some friends as well! the breakfast was prepared by the owner and it was delicious!!! she used fresh tomatos from her garden and it was absolutely amazing! the house was incredibly clean and the air conditioning was soooo nice! if i ever find myself on this side of france again i will absolutely be staying here again!!!!!

Where you should go if you, like me, are tired of staying at large, impersonal chain hotels.

The place was great! On our first night there there was a huge spider on the bed that was probably about the size of my hand… They switched us rooms and took care of it… Just be mindful when you leave the windows open there are signs that bugs can’t get in. (FYI we didn’t leave the window open we saw it as soon as we entered the room after check in)

I loved this place, amazing service super friendly staff from the receptionist that walked me to room, to bartender who opened a bottle of wine for my room, to the ladies at check out EVERYONE was super nice. The hotel is about 10 minutes from airport and RER terminal. Perfect place to be before or after a flight. Also note that this is a sold three star but five star for service. Not sure why they don't have a star on Expedia
