"We had a wonderful Christmas Vacation!!! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. They were extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check in early after unexpected circumstances. "We had the best experience staying at Pension Hobby during our visit to Japan. The owners are very kind and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Our room was simple and clean with a modern space heater. Norikura itself is tiny and the number of restaurants is limited. This didn’t matter at all since we had fantastic dinners (set menu) at Pension Hobby every night during our stay. Breakfast always included homemade yoghurt, milk, jam, sausages, bacon and so on.
