Welcome to LongView on the Cove, a stunning five-bedroom home on Cayuga Lake that combines luxurious comfort with the timeless charm of the Finger Lakes. Perfectly situated between Seneca Falls and Ithaca, this beautiful retreat offers everything you need for a relaxing lakeside getaway—panoramic water views, modern finishes, and easy access to some of the region's best wineries, hiking trails, and local attractions.
Inside, the home's open-concept design makes every moment feel light and connected. The newly remodeled kitchen is a dream for anyone who loves to cook, featuring custom cabinetry, sleek quartz countertops, and a glass tile backsplash that reflects the morning light. You'll find it stocked with everything needed for preparing family meals or casual lake snacks, and nearby farmers markets—like Ithaca's famous market or Sauder's—make it easy to gather fresh, local ingredients.
The living and dining area is the heart of the home, with wall-to-wall windows that frame the water and fill the space with sunshine. A plush sectional surrounds the gas fireplace, creating a cozy gathering spot for cool evenings or quiet mornings with coffee and conversation. The design blends modern farmhouse elements with original wood accents for a look that feels both elegant and inviting.
A private bedroom with a queen bed and garden views is located on the main level, along with a convenient half bath. Upstairs, the primary suite offers peaceful lake views, a comfortable king bed, and a private bath. A cozy adjoining hideaway bedroom is perfect for kids or two extra guests. Each of the remaining bedrooms features new bedding and windows that look out over the lake, allowing you to wake each morning to sparkling water and fresh country air.
Step outside and the magic of LongView truly comes to life. The newly built patio and pergola make outdoor entertaining effortless, while the expansive yard rolls gently down to 200 feet of natural lake frontage. Spend the day swimming, lounging by the shore, or exploring Cayuga Lake by boat or kayak. In the evening, light a fire and watch the sunset reflect across the water.
When you're ready to explore, you'll find endless adventures nearby—from hiking Taughannock or Buttermilk Falls to strolling Ithaca's vibrant Commons or visiting the Women's Rights Museum in Seneca Falls. Whether you spend your stay exploring or simply relaxing by the lake, LongView on the Cove offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and serenity.

We had a wonderful stay in the Finger Lakes. The views, scenery, and location were all perfect. Communication and check-in/out were smooth. My family really enjoyed themselves.
Property was great. Loved the lake view and all of the amenities. Could have used a couple more chairs at the dinning table, but otherwise had a great time!
We spent Thanksgiving with family - the house is spacious and provided plenty of room for everyone to gather, allowing the kids to play and enjoy themselves. The kitchen appliances and tools were adequate, and the bathrooms were clean and roomy. Likewise, the bedrooms had enough space for everyone and were comfortable.
This is the second year in a row for a long weekend at this lovely location. We continue to be impressed with the level of cleanliness, comfort and amenities this rental offers. The view is fantastic and location is perfect for visiting the numerous wineries along Cayuga and Seneca lakes. Very pleased and will be back!
The house has amazing views of the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks, row boat ,swimming. 5 couples stayed and had plenty of room. We toured wineries, distilleries, boat ride, farmers market. The place is very clean and decorated tastefully. We had a great dinner at Consentino's in Geneva. Very easy access to property except it is hard to find driveway. Larger numbers would help esp at night. Definitely read email from property management company to know what to bring. We will definitely consider visiting again for our annual trip to the Fingerlakes.
Was a nice house, great views of the lake but we encountered a few problems including stairs going down to the lake from the house being broken also a hand railing was broken so wife had a hard time getting down to sit by the lake, not sure if this was just because it was the end of summer and they were going to do repairs after but very disappointed we expected more since this was our first rental and was a lot of money for us. There were 3 hornets nest on site, had to watch where grandson stepped. One thing that really bothered us there is a boat dock and a boat was parked there the second day we were there people drove down the side of our house and parked right in front of our view on the lawn in front of lake view, got out of their car left it there for us to look at, walked down to the boat dock and got in the boat and left, while my daughters were sun bathing. After that they wouldnt sun bath, felt very uncomfortable. Asked the people if were the owners, they said no just friends but owner of house lets us keep our boat here. Great we wouldnt of rented this house knowing that others may be around. Gas grill was broken and wouldnt light. Besides the above, nice house, clean, great views.
Seven of us stayed in this home for a long weekend of fishing and everything was perfect. It was clean, cozy, spacious, and had a great grill, patio, and back yard. It was exactly what we were looking for.
The place is fantastic.Totally updated and very clean. Enough room for everyone. It has two decks which gives you extra space. Sets back from the road.
It’s one of the nicest we have stayed in, worth the price.
Would totally recommend.
Every year my dearest friend and I go away for our birthdays with our spouses. We have amazing friends who come along for the ride. We have been to Lake Placid- Lake George- but we loved the proximity to our home town from this house. Wine trails were great fun. Made a lot of memories- had a lot of laughs and could not have been happier. The house was absolute perfection - stunning sunrise!!
We loved the location of this property and that it was very clean and very homely. It is situated along Cayuga lake and is directly on the lake. Can easily hold 10 people; has two full baths upstairs and a powder room on the ground floor. Gas grill outside. This property is about 30 mins from Auburn, 12 mins from Downtown Senaca Falls, and close to wineries, Muranda Cheese Company (for Cheese tastings), Sauders Store (Amish Food Market/Grocery), etc.It is approx 23 mins from Taughannock Falls State Park (which has an easy walk to the waterfall in the park) and about 8 mins from Cayuga Lake State Park. Both parks are right on the lake and have a lot of charcoal grills. The house had a fusball table and ping pong table in the basement. Smart tv's in all bedrooms with access to the various streaming apps available.
Long View on the Cove is an awesome property ! This house is perfect in every way! The grounds are beautiful and well kept with spectacular views of Cayuga Lake from the great deck and side porch! It doesn’t get any better then this. The property is conveniently located close to some great wineries and restaurants. Very easy access to and from the property with plenty on parking. Beds and bedding were very nice. The house was very clean and had a modern farmhouse theme with special attention paid to decor and accessories that made you feel like it was home!! Everything you could possibly need is provided. We met Kathy the owner who gave us the history of the remodeling of the house and also shared restoration pictures. What a great job! We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait for our girls weekend next year! If we could, we would give it a 6 star rating!!!
We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It was spotless when we arrived, with sheets and towels wrapped up tight for safety! The rooms were spacious, AC was tremendously helpful and worked great, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were generously sized! Our entire family loved the boat and kayaks and the area in front of the house was perfect for swimming and wading and skipping rocks. We rented a pontoon boat and explored the lake and really felt so grateful to be staying in such a lovely home on the water! The grill was much appreciated and patios were wonderful for breakfast and evening cocktails! The outside was landscaped with flowers which added a nice touch! We will definitely return and appreciated the ease and carefulness of the Property Management Company! They even found a bracelet left behind and will be returning it to us- a sentimental piece and we were so grateful. Can highly recommend this -- truly enjoyable from start to finish!
We rented this to celebrate a family birthday, and it was the perfect spot for us. House was clean and stocked with the basics. Great for a large group of people. The foozball and ping pong tables were fun! The back deck overlooking the water is fabulous, minus a few insects. One piece of advice: pay very close attention to the email that the property management company sends you because there are some "basics" that the company does not provide. There were no hair dryers. Each bathroom had 2 rolls of toilet paper max (not enough!) They skimp on pillows (king = 3; queen = 2; twin = 1) and towels. One of the beds did not even have sheets! There are no toiletries in the bathroom or showers. No hand soap in dispensers are provided, so the one bar of soap sits directly on the counter and gets soggy (no soap dish either!). There are no towel racks in the half bath, so the towel just sits on the counter and stays moist. There are absolutely no condiments or things to cook with like olive oil. There are no cleaning products, so we couldn't do a proper clean up in between meals. There were only 2 dishwasher pods for the entire weekend (with a full house we ran the dishwasher after every meal, so need at least 5 pods). There aren't even any board games or cards or books. In summary, this is a great place, and it was our fault for not reading the email about what to expect, BUT...IF I WERE THE OWNERS I WOULD HIRE A DIFFERENT PROPERTY MANAGER. For a "luxury" property, I expect more.
We had a group of 9 people and all were comfortable in this cozy house on Cayuga Lake. It is conveniently located near several wineries. The view from this lake house was stunning. Plenty of room for large groups.
Immaculate interior. Beautiful grounds. Comfortable great room/living area for our group of four couples to hang out. Two refrigerators a big plus. Kitchen was tight for us, but adequate.
