"Location was good as close to public transport, convenience stores, retail shops & food options. Only downside was foyer was taken up by luggage every day so it was detracting when you were leaving & returning each day I was there. Staff were present but limited engagement. I didn’t try the breakfast so unable to comment on this aspect. I couldn’t work out the heating & cooling in the room and just turned it off."

"The rooms were always cleaned perfectly and waters restocked each day, AC was easy to use and staff were friendly. Only issue is the 3 lifts for so many floors, makes it take a while to go up or down during peak hours."

"i came to Korea for the first time and was staying by myself at this hotel. it was a fantastic location - lots of things around me - and i felt very safe. the property and room was super clean and the staff were really friendly. I love the mini kitchenette in my room and the washer and dryer was my selling point!! AND THEN I SAW A LG STYLER IN MY ROOM i love it so much and used it so much to sanitize my clothes every day. thank you for providing me a great stay and great first experience in Korea. I will definitely be back! "

"Seemed very new and clean. Nice area near the parliament and only 15 mins walk to the financial district and lovely Central Park. Amazingly comfortable bed and good sized room. Apart from front desk little English spoken. Recommended though and would definitely return. "

"Great location in a nice neighborhood. Subway 9 line nearby for easy access to any part of Seoul. It was a 20 minute subway ride from the Express bus terminal and 1hr to Incheon Airport terminal 2. Just avoid rush hour until 10:00am. The buses are also near the Subway for easy access to other parts of the city. You just need to familiarize yourself with the system. I also loved all the local restaurants and hair salon. Got a great men’s cut for 20,000 krw at O and Hair. If you’re looking for clubs or bars you need to go into those areas but if you’re looking for more of a local atmosphere this place is it. There’s also a restaurant and cafe downstairs which looked very reasonable but there were too many options nearby for me. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again."

"We had a suite (1602) and while I appreciate the size of the room (although I thought we were getting a bigger room based on the pictures) the building is old. Bathroom had mold, tub jets didn’t work and several places where it just clearly needed an update. Bigger issue the elevator literally closed on my arm. As we’re headed downstairs to check out with our several pieces of luggage, the doors just don’t stay open for long and with it being older the sensor doesn’t work very well. "Overall, HOTEL LOFT is a very pleasant stay. I've rated it predominantly as 4 stars because compared to the 5 star experiences my family and I have experienced over the years it's slightly lacking in vibes. Specifically, there's a slightly warn out quality to the overall building, and the level of polish is, again, not at the 5 star quality that we've experienced. However, it is pleasantly boutique, and the staff are all very professional. If everything was freshened up or updated, this place is easily 5 stars. Additionally, we rented the top floor penthouse, and while cute, it had an usual layout that added to the slightly off vibes. It's missing a closet, for example. Just quirks like that make it mostly a solid 4 star stay"
