We could hear the water rushing down the stream, birds singing, and in the mornings a rooster crowing. We loved it. Having the fireplace on the deck and the fire pit near the water was amazing. "This house was so cute and beautifully decorated. Our family has several very tall people, and they hit their heads nearly every time they walked to the bathroom or out the door. That’s why I recommend this place for shorter people. I wouldn’t stay here if you have teenie walking toddlers. The stairs are steep. "Our family of 5 (3 teenage/tweenage daughters) stayed here for two nights while we explored Olympic National Park. We absolutely loved it. The daybed overlooking the Strait was a huge hit and is a very comfortable place to hang out or sleep. The bedrooms/lofts are tight but comfortable and we used them just for sleeping.For a treehouse it is quite spacious. The views were more impressive than we expected and the hosts were responsive and clearly take pride in the space they’ve built. ...

"It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel.
