"Incredible hotel! The staff is amazing. So friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds, rooms, and views are stunning. The sea pool is beyond and the diving boards are so much fun. We brought our 8 month old and they provided a crib, stuffed animal, and adorable backpack. The staff was also very sweet with the baby and offered a high chair at every meal. We also really enjoyed the thoughtful nightly gifts during turndown service. Spa also very nice.

"Das Hotel und das Zimmer ist sehr schön. Man hat einen super Blick auf das Meer, da man hoch am Hügel ist. Das rauffahren zum Hotel und parken ist ein bisschen challenging, was aber auf die gesamte Insel zutrifft ;) Das Frühstück war jeden Tag super lecker und wurde serviert. Das Personal ist sehr Kundenorientiert und immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. "What an amazing property. This hotel was one of my favorites throughout our family trip of 10 days around Portugal and Madeira. We were given a suite with pool and ocean view. The rooms were spotless clean, comfortable beds with fluffy pillows. One of the best breakfast buffets we have experienced. The staff was very friendly and professional. Located near restaurants, natural pool, shopping mall. Highly recommend to stay at Porto Mare Bayport when visiting Funchal."

"This stay was the perfect hotel for relaxation, away from the madness of Funchal. It gave us a perfect base to tour the island. It gave us the chance to cover many levada walks and tour the island by car ( a car is essential if you want to explore).
The hotel ran many other sessions including rum punch making, wine tasting and botanical tours. The facilities includes a freshwater pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna as well as spa facilities.
