"Our room was on the 24th floor and we paid an up charge for the higher floor. The view of the city was great; however the room itself was tiny and could barely accommodate our one large suitcases and 2 carry-ons. Our friends who rented a similar room but asked for two twin beds rather than one double had plenty of room. Folks booking a double occupancy room would be well advised to take the two twin option over the single double."

"Everything is great except for the elevators. Reception is on the second floor and it stops there everytime before going to the first floor to exit. This causes significant slowdowns on the elevator. It’s overall a minor thing but it can be a little annoying."

"Nice clean, modern hotel located right in the middle Kyoto station. Very convenient to all the trains and buses since you are right in the station. Room was super clean and modern. Many places to eat and take pictures right there without needing to leave the station."

"The intergate Osaka Umeda has really good rooms with a kettle and fridge but it is hard to get coffee to make your own in the room. They do have a good guest lounge with free coffee available (among other things) much of the day but have a strange policy that because of this coffee (bags) are only available after 8PM. But you have to beg! Other than this, the hotel is well located, very close to Osaka station (not The Bullettrain station though) and heaps of bar/restaurant precincts close by."

"We’ve stayed here a few times and always enjoy it. The location is good, very close to Shin-Osaka station, the staff are always helpful, everything is clean and we like the big communal baths and sauna. Depending on which room you go for, the views of Osaka city are great too"
