About The Buck View Lodge Smoky Mountains Cabin
Buck View Lodge is located in the mountains while also close to everything you want to see and do, including Sevierville, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg.
Enjoy the gorgeous views of the Smoky Mountains and Douglas Lake from a massive wrap-around balcony equipped with classic wooden rocking chairs. The perfect spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a nice relaxing evening drink as the day slowly turns to night.
The spacious main level features high ceilings and that rustic cabin charm. You'll find a cozy living room with a sleeper sofa, matching chair, and love seat. You can also enjoy the instant warmth from the picturesque fireplace on those chilly mountain mornings/evenings (seasonal Oct-March) Enjoy your favorite cable TV programs on a large flat screen smart TV or surf the web on 300 mbps high-speed internet/Wi-Fi.
You'll feel right at home in the fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, and blender. Seating and service for eight guests (the dining table comfortably seats 6; however, two extra dining chairs are provided inside the cabin for you to pull everyone together for a family dinner). A gas grill is located outside for your bbq pleasure (we are in bear country, so please do not leave food unattended outside.)

The upstairs loft features additional sleeping quarters and a pool table. The spacious loft also has a balcony with seating and lovely views.
Buck view Lodge is located in Douglas Lake Resort in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views. Being in the resort provides you with access to the lake via our private launching dock and use of the playground, nature trails, and seasonal swimming pool. We recommend checking out the various boat rental companies around the lake. We have recently used Mountain Cove Marina, and most of their pontoon boat rentals are brand new! They also have an on-site grill that has the best cheeseburgers on Douglas Lake. They occasionally have live music.
Buck View Lodge is located 15 miles from Dollywood and is very close to several popular attractions in the area. Our cabin is inside the Douglas Lake Resort, and you will have full access to the neighborhood amenities.
Other popular activities in the area include Mountain Cove Marina and Harbor Grill, Smoky Mountain Deer Farm and Exotic Petting Zoo, English Mountain Trout Farm and Grill, Little River Gem Mine, and Bush's Baked Beans Tour/Shop.
The cabin has parking for two cars. You will need to park behind one another due to the shared driveway, or there is overflow parking as you drive up the hill. The roads are not steep, and the mountain driving in our community is easy! Please review parking instructions that will be emailed to you prior to check-in, parking rules must be followed closely.
Locally owned and managed cabin rentals.
We are not owned/managed by a big corporate rental agency; owners Josh and Leslie look forward to providing you with a safe, clean, and comfortable cabin for you and your family to make memories in for years to come!

Nice cabin with beautiful views! Plenty of room for our family of four to relax, play games and spend quality time together. The pool table and hot tub are nice! Only gave four stars because of a few little things like no working lighter for the gas grill, cobbwebs, one dish towel in the kitchen and some of the dishes were dirty.
We loved the big porch and rockers and swings very relaxing with beautiful view. The only thing for us was the drive to and from town. Clean house enjoyed our stay .
It’s a beautiful and great place to stay at with friends and family. The house is very clean and cozy over all it’s a great place to stay at. We highly recommend this house for anyone’s next vacation.
Had a great time at Josh’s cabin! It was our first time visiting the area and enjoyed the spectacular view of the mountains from the deck.

Wonderful!
A cabin was perfect! It had everything that we needed. The views were absolutely gorgeous! The hot tub was a nice touch as well. Although we were around other cabins, it really felt secluded and private. We really enjoyed ourselves! Josh was a great host!
The cabin was very clean. Everything you would need for a stay made available. Location good to get to local attractions. View of the lake beautiful ! Would recommend !
Perfect place for a quick getaway. Views / deck area were excellent. Kids enjoyed the upstairs area. Owner was quick to respond with questions we had, would stay here again anytime!
** Trash must be taken to a compost around 5 minutes from house so be prepared to load that and drive up the road.
The cabin was nice. The view was pretty. The pillows were nice. The lighting, especially bathrooms, could have been brighter.
Hot tub was perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing.
We stayed a weekend at Josh’s Cabins. Beautiful fall views from deck surrounding the cabin. The cabin was clean with two master suites on the main level with a game room, deck, and more beds on second level. It was private and quiet with nearby lake activities during the summer! We will be back!!!!
Gorgeous views. The property was exactly as pictures show. We had 5 adults and this property was perfect for us. Hot tube on the corner of the deck. Plenty of chairs to face in any direction you wanted to view. The house was comfortable, clean, and everything was in working condition.
Cute places tucked not far from attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The drive from the main road to the cabin is about ten minutes if winding roads. Not bad overall but adds that much time for anywhere you plan to go. It was very quiet and peaceful there and the amenities were as stated. There were some minor repairs around the house that need done but overall we had a really great stay. The property owner was also good at communicating and quick to respond. I would recommend to anyone looking for something off the beaten path. It also has beautiful views since it is toward the top of a mountain.

Breathtaking views day and night
We stayed in the Buck View Lodge for a week. The views are amazing day and night. The cabin was clean and had a full kitchen for cooking. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. The pool table up in the loft was great to show my daughter how to shoot pool. Had a hard time getting her off of it lol. We look forward to staying here again in the future. You wont be dissapointed if you book this cabin.

Amazing views
Gorgeous views and cozy accommodations. The porch swing sold me from the start. Loved that it was two king beds with full bathrooms. Girls trip, so we didn’t have to fight over a master bedroom. It was a great space, perfect for what we were looking for. Will stay again. The location was perfect. Views were phenomenal. Neighbors were great. Everything was clean and cozy. Highly recommend. We will be back!
Our stay was awesome and these were the best views we’ve had at a cabin so far! This cabin has two balconies with beautiful views. Every window has a view of the mountains, even the shower upstairs! The weather was absolutely perfect and the fall colors were gorgeous! The cabin has everything you need except hand soap in the bathrooms, we used the bar soap that was provided for hand washing. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. Beware of wasps and bees when on the balconies when the sun is hitting the cabin, they like the warm wood and they were everywhere! Once the sun sets a little, they’re not around, only noticed them on our last day. We did find two nests under the balconies that we will tell the owner about. Other than that, breakfast at Elvira’s Cafe was delicious and it’s close to the cabin, lunch at food truck park was good, and as always, Applewood Farmhouse killed it for dinner, it’s a must!
The property was overall very pleasant. It was not a secluded is I thought as you are definitely right on top of other homes, and you are nowhere really near the lake like I thought. There is a place for two you can see the lake, but you are definitely not lakefront. The view along the back is nice, but again along the sides you're right up along other properties. It is also not a true three bedroom as the third bedroom is the loft upstairs with a pool table in it. I was under the impression there was three bedrooms and then also the loft so that was disappointing. What was also very disappointing was that the fireplace was boarded over so we could not use the fireplace at all. Again, on a listings it listed a fireplace and three bedrooms so that was very disappointing. The kitchen is small but adequate and the beds and furniture are fairly comfortable. The beds upstairs in the loft are small, like children's bed so my guest that had to stay up there complained that they had to sleep with their feet hanging off the edge because the bed was not long enough. Again, it was overall a nice place but certainly not spectacular.
