Papa Bear’s Retreat is in the beautiful Cedar Falls Resort. The resort has a swimming pool, basketball goal, catch and release pond, nature walk, pavilion, and a chapel. The cabin has 2 king suites with TVs on the main floor. One suite has a tub/shower combo, and the other has a shower. The great room has a stone fireplace with a 65 inch TV and 2 sleeper sofas. The fully-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a table that seats 10. The full-size washer and dryer are under the staircase. Queen bunk beds are in the loft next the the third bathroom. The loft also has a sleeper sofa, 65 inch TV, pool table, and arcade game. We have Xfinity TV with voice remotes and Wifi. Two TVs have BluRay players. Our decks wraparound 3 sides of the cabin. The front deck has a swing and rocking chairs. The side deck also has rocking chairs. The back deck has room for everyone with a stone fireplace, gliders, a picnic table, a pub table, a grill, and a hot tub.

Papa Bear’s Retreat

We were amazed at the beauty of this home. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We felt very comfortable during our entire stay!!We had a couple of our grandchildren and their other grandparents come for dinner one evening and they too were impressed with the place!!Thank you for making our trip memorable!

Great home and porch clise to Pigeon Forge

Quick trip with friends. Cabin was perfect with 2 king size ensuites on the first floor. Wonderful porch to hang out on with electric fireplace and hot tub.

Relaxing Visit

We loved our stay at Papa Bear's Retreat. Perfect size for two couples and three kids. The kids loved the community basketball hoop and play ground. The adults loved hanging out on the deck. Great stay.

Beautiful cabin - everything we wanted.

The cabin was stunning. It was better than the pictures. Our kids loved the loft with the bunk beds and games. The kitchen was well stocked. The outside space made the trip even better. Everything was clean when we arrived. Highly recommend.

Love this cabin

This is our second time staying in this cabin; we once again loved it. The location is great it is close to everything but quiet at the cabin. It has plenty of room for our family of six but is cozy enough for a winter cabin feel while sitting at the indoor or outdoor fireplaces. Well stocked with all the necessary items to cook at the cabin. Can't wait to visit again.

Our “Happy Place”

This was our third time to stay in this cabin and it was a pleasurable experience as usual. The covered porch and fireplace is our favorite way to spend special family time. The cabin is well stocked and decorated nicely. We look forward to returning again!

Cozy Mountain Retreat Filled with Holiday Magic

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful mountain cabin! The adult kids couldn’t get enough of the hot tub, while my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the cozy fireplace. The large kitchen table was perfect for making gingerbread houses together, which was such a fun family activity. We were thrilled to find the cabin already decorated for Christmas, complete with a festive tree that added to the holiday spirit. The whole experience was magical—would highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

Holiday Weekend Getaway

We were a family of 8 and it was perfect! This was our second time here and love this place because is absolutely gorgeous. It was very clean and well stocked with towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and other amenities. The porch is great for gathering with family around the fireplace and it’s very spacious. The kids also enjoyed the board games as well as the arcade. We love that the pool is a short walk away as well as the nature walk. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen was well equipped and accommodated our needs. I highly recommend staying here.

Family Vacation

This was our family vacation. We absolutely loved the covered deck with all the seating. Our grandchildren road their tricycles on the deck while we enjoyed the day. The fireplace is so relaxing! We absolutely loved the huge table in the kitchen!! Our entire family was able to sit around the table and eat together for every meal!! We will definitely try to rent this cabin again if we come back to Pigeon Forge!! We had a Great Time!!!

Simply Amazing!

This cabin was simply amaging! We come to Pigeon Forge every year and this is the 2nd time we have stayed at this cabin.Not only is it clean and well furnished, but Has a wrap-a-round porch with an outside fireplace!!! We love that within walking distance is a pond, picnic area and trail. The entrance to the community is absolutely beautiful with a covered bridge and water wheel. We are looking forward to next year already!

Perfect setup!

We checked in late at night. Owner communicated everything we needed to know beforehand so it was a breeze. Cabin was clean, decorated well and fit every need we had. Convenient location in a quiet clean subdivision away from all the traffic but only a short 5-10 minute drive to the main strip in Pigeon Forge. Definitely will be utilizing this cabin again.

Perfect Stay

This cabin was beautifully decorated and well stocked! The hot tub stayed hot and was clean. The cabin itself was clean enough that I didn’t feel the need to wipe everything down with Clorox wipes. The kitchen had everything you need to cook from a stand mixer, blender, crockpot and coffee pots to coffee, sugar, cream salt pepper etc. If it’s not there then food city is a short drive away! It’s a whole lot of cabin for just 2 people but we will be staying here again!

Beautiful Cabin-Accommodating Host

Pictures were accurate as to decor/surroundings and outdoor area was very nice. We did have one major issue of washer not working for 4 days so that was quite hard to deal with, but owner did all that she could to accommodate us by letting us use another rental's machine, sending extra towels, and getting repairman there as soon as she could. Basically a good trip minus loss of time trying to catch up on laundry while on vacation and having to bring home dirty laundry. All in all a nice rental and good host.

Memories made that we will cherish

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! Our family of 7 stayed and everything about this place was perfect! You will not be disappointed! The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The large table not only allowed us to gather for meals but also for playing cards and board games. We made many memories talking and laughing in the living room around the cozy fire and beautiful Christmas tree. The jacuzzi, large porch with another fireplace our family also enjoyed and we liked having privacy with no cabins behind us. We had plenty of space to gather together to spend time relaxing , laughing and having fun! We will definitely be back! Priscilla was excellent with communicating with us and providing instructions inside the house which made it using items so easy.

Beautiful Home, Great Location

The home looks beautiful on line but is even better in person. My husband and I stayed with another couple and this cabin was perfect. The main floor has two bedrooms with King Beds and en suite bathrooms with double sinks. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has a massive granite top table that will sit 10 people. The living room has plenty of room to sit and watch tv but the outdoor space is what made me book the home and it did not disappoint! There is a huge fireplace with gas logs which was so convenient. A nice, large gas grill and a hot tub all close to each other so you can sit in front of the fire and still talk with someone in the hot tub or whoever is grilling. The loft area of the home has bunk, queen beds which we did not use but there is also a pool table and video game system which was fun. The home was very clean and well cared for. Parking is easy and there was plenty of space for multiple vehicles. We drove around the neighborhood and all the homes are gorgeous. Access to Pigeon Forge was easy with back roads so we were able to avoid the nightmare traffic on the main strip. Overall we had a great time and would definitely book this cabin again.

Awesome Stay

It was a joy to stay at Papa Bear’s Retreat. My wife and I agreed that it was easily the cleanest and "best outfitted" cabin we have ever stayed in while visiting the Smokies. We hope to schedule another visit soon!

Perfect place for family vacation

This was one of the nicer VRBO’s we’ve stayed in! The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels! The hot tub was a huge hit. Beds were noisy but very comfortable! We appreciated the close proximity to Pigeon Forge. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cabin! Very clean and well furnished. Our grandchildren loved the loft and game room. The big table in the kitchen is perfect for family game time and meals. We hiked the water falls trail on the property and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.The owner was very prompt in replying to any questions.We are already talking about our next trip and will most definitely stay here again.
