A Beary Special Chalet is a luxury 6-bedroom, 5 full bath, and 2 half bath cabin spanning over 4,300 sq. ft. Built in 2022, this Sevierville cabin combines modern design with rustic Smoky Mountain charm. Whether you’re planning a family reunion, group getaway, or multi-family vacation, this cabin offers everything you need for an unforgettable stay in the Smoky Mountains.

Nestled in Thunder Mountain Resort, you’ll be just 4.5 miles from The Island in Pigeon Forge and 11 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. This prime location means you’re close to Dollywood, The Ripken Experience, and all the best restaurants, shopping, and attractions, while still enjoying the peace of a private resort setting.

The highlight of this Smoky Mountain cabin is its private, indoor, heated gunite pool. Recently renovated, it now features a spacious open-swim design with a soothing waterfall. A new garage-style door opens directly onto the deck, creating a seamless indoor–outdoor experience.

Guests will love the entertainment options: a hot tub, pool table, air hockey, and a fully equipped arcade with Golden Tee, Multicade, Virtual Pinball, and two Driving Simulators. Flat-screen Roku TVs are located throughout, and with two living areas plus two queen sleeper sofas (one upstairs, one in the game room), there’s space for everyone to spread out.

Fabulous Family Time

It was an awesome way to get away from the normal day to day and spend quality time with family. The home was perfect for everyone and we had a lot of fun just being at the house. It provided plenty of space and activities for all ages. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great Place for a Family Getaway

The cabin waws great. It seemed to be about 10-15 min from pretty much everything. The kids loved the pool, hot tub, and games. The deck and fire pit were great for sitting around talking. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone (13 people). We would definitely stay the again.

Beautiful home

The home is beautiful, clean, well stocked, and conveniently located to the National Park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. We traveled with 4 children, ages 3-11. They loved the game room, pool, and hot tub. The morning and evening views of the mountains from the front deck are spectacular, and we enjoyed many evenings eating on the deck while watching wildlife pass through. We would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful, spacious, comfy home. We (Grandma & Grandpa) took sons and their families (four grand sons) to meet up with family from Florida. With the wonderful pool, hot tub and numerous video games, everyone was good just staying in.

Beary GREAT stay

Our family of 16 (17 mo. to 70s) found this to be the perfect property for us! Plenty of space, gaming room esp. for kids, pool & theater room! Wonderful covered deck where the youngest could safely be & all the rest of us enjoyed. Loved the huge pantry! Location in the middle of most hiking trails and not far from other entertainment. Exceeded all our needs/wants!

January 2025 Stay

Our family had a wonderful 3-night stay at Beary Special Chalet. Everything was perfect. This included good tv service (dish and streaming), WIFI signal good throughout the cabin, televisions in very room, large well stocked kitchen with 2 dishwashers and huge walk-in pantry, lazy river type indoor swimming pool, nice hot tub, great theater room, and arcade games that included a golden tee golf game. Parking for 4 or more vehicles. The place was super clean and well stocked with bath towels and body wash/shampoo in every bathroom. Nicest cabin we’ve ever rented. The only downside is a steep access road to the community that is not publicly maintained. Snow and ice last night made a difficult journey off the mountain this morning. Kudos to Bear Tracts for allowing us to reenter the cabin after checkout for keeping the kids while the men got the vehicles to the bottom of the hill.

The cabin was about 10-15 minutes from downtown pigeon forge which has so much to do (that we should have stayed longer).The cabin is huge! Personal indoor pool, gaming systems, TVs in every room, hot tub, and I could go on and on. We had such a great time. There were a few issues with the cleaning but the very next morning they had cleaners there to fix our issues.

My children (6 & 12 years old) loved the games, the pool, and having a bunkbed to sleep in. The location is ideal. Easy to get to, close to town, and not isolated, but quiet. We only stayed for a few nights this trip, but would have been comfortable for a longer stay there. The cabin had everything you’d need, with lots of room to spread out. The pool is the main reason for us choosing this cabin and my boys loved it. It was deep enough for adults to float, but shallow enough for my 12 year old to stand. The temperature felt great and there was plenty of room for multiple people. My kids have already asked to stay here again!

Spring Family Vacay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is in new condition, heavy durable furniture, and clean. Kitchen with dishes, and enough accessories to make meals easily. Video games were a hit. Hot tub amazing. Deck was nice - no mountain view and pollen/dust covered but it was a chilly spring week. Very disappointed in the pool temperature. Thermometer reading was low. Maintenance insisted the thermometer was broke and the water was 84. Not possible. I couldn't swim with the kids as planned, and even the kids who are very hardy had goose bumps and chattering teeth. Location is very close to the National Park and all the attractions. Not much of a yard for the kids to run off energy and the road is a big incline to walk with them, but we found a nice local park. Trash pick up was requested but only happened once for the week- so it had piled up, but the rental company was apologetic and tried to help. Beds were comfortable. Maybe bring an extra blanket in cold months. Suggest bringing hangers. Rental company told us the crib in the pictures had been removed, but it was there. Hair dryers were a nice surprise. Good large group cabin.

We have not rented from Bear Tracts before so we were a little nervous that the pictures wouldn’t match the real life version but that was not the case! The cabin was beautiful and laid out very nice. With 3 bedrooms on the main floor it was nice for older people in our party to not have to go up and down a million stairs. The only suggestion I would have is more outside trash space. For a 6 bedroom cabin only having 2 small trash bins just wasn’t enough.

Outdoor fire pit was great when we were able to keep it lit (it kept going out unless we held the button in for quite some time). Property was well-maintained, but the cleaning crew could be a little more efficient (i.e. hair on shower wall, used q-tip on bathroom floor in the corner).
