Amazing vacation

We had a wonderful stay, everything thing was just as described. Be prepared for the steps, it was a weekly workout, seeing bears right at the cabin multiple times was amazing and had a beautiful view. And love that we could take our dogs along.

Impressive cabin and stunning views

Definitely one of the best cabins my family has vacationed in over the years. The floor plan is well thought out and the game room was full of fun activities. We found ourselves hanging out on the large porch a lot since the temperature was so pleasant and the view was stunning. We had bunnies in the yard each evening and even had a mama bear with three cubs visit.

Beautiful views

The cabin is cozy and the owners are extremely nice! We spotted a momma bear with her cubs twice during our stay (very cool if you’re inside, a bit scary if you’re climbing up the walkway). Most of the drive up to the cabin is easy, but the driveway is definitely steep. Overall our group of adults and kids loved our stay and never had a boring moment

In the clouds

We made so many memories at this cabin. We were greeted by and got to witness a Momma bear teach her twin cubs to play, climb, and eat. The driveway is steep but fun to have your kids race up to get tired!

Great Thanksgiving trip

Great views, relaxing, and fun!

The home is wonderful, spacious, and quiet. While there are many stairs to get to the house, it is manageable. Far enough to relax yet close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The folks in Wears Valley are very hospitable!

Family vacation

Very nice home and lots of space! Adult men love loved game room and TV for Saturday and Sunday Football. Beautiful views and so relaxing! The stairs were definitely a challenge!!! We enjoyed our time

Great Vacation!

We had a wonderful time on our vacation to the Smokies! This cabin was the perfect base of operations for our adventures. Close to the National Park and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The cabin had all of the amenities and a beautiful view!

New home away from home!

Beautiful cabin and view! If you want a secluded cabin, high up with awesome views I 100% recommend a stay here! Host was very informative, responsive, and constantly offered support for anything needed. Even after we checked out and realised one of the kids left their tablet, host was kind enough to retrieve the tablet and ship back to is. Highly highly recommended stay.

A nice time away

Had a great guys weekend can’t ask for much better, I do wish the game room had at least a mini fridge to store drinks instead of going up the spiral staircase and back down

Father/Son Weekend

We had 3 father/son duos that stayed at the property. All of the sons recently graduated high school and are getting ready for college so we decided to take a weekend golf trip. The property was great. Plenty of games downstairs for the boys. The view was amazing. Only downside was the hot tub needs some attention so I gave a 4 star on cleanliness. Everything was awesome!

Worth considering

The 5 star reviews are accurate. Everything came as advertised. A little work to climb the stairs, but worth it once you get there. The owner stayed in touch during our stay. The hot tub actually works!!!!

Perfect mountain getaway for the family

My family & I decided to take a trip to the Smoky's, being that it's been almost 20 years since the last time my wife & I visited, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The cabin was really nice; plenty of room for everyone to spread out & decompress after a whole day of activities, a hot tub that was an absolute hit (especially with the young ones), we even had some unexpected visitors on our first day that surprised everyone...we knew there were bears in the area, but never anticipated we'd see them right out of the gate.Ron was extremely responsive to any & all questions or concerns that we had during our stay, and would send follow ups every now & then just to make sure everything was to our liking, which was greatly appreciated.The only downside to our visit, and mind you, this is coming from visitors who traveled from quite possibly the flattest part of the country (South Louisiana), was the curvy, inclined roadway leading up to the steep driveway to the cabin. We knew it was coming from a few of the reviews, but once you're in it, you realize how intimidating it can be. Once we drove back & forth a few times, however, it got a bit easier & less stressful, so there's that. For those who may be first timers, heed Ron's advice - drive it low & slow. Parking was a bit tricky, but made it work with a full size truck & the 2 sedans we all drove up in.Lastly, prepare yourself for those stairs, they're a doozy - low & slow, folks (lol).

Enjoyed our stay

An unexpected snow/ice storm started our trip off on the wrong foot. Ron was in constant contact and tried his best to help under the unfortunate circumstances. Once we arrived our kids enjoyed the cabin-especially the game room. We were thankful for the full kitchen as we cooked a lot due to not being able to leave the house much because of ice/snow on roads.

Beautiful location

House is located in a very nice area, very secluded. We had a few minor issues, master bedroom door to outside did not lock, we stuck a bar to keep locked, there were spiderwebs throughout the cabin, needs some dusting. Housekeeping does need to be talked to about changing out pillow cases etc.(the room my mom stayed in smelled like perfume). But overall the home is beautiful, stairs didn’t really bother my group.

Amazing views

The views were the star of the show!! Plenty of space for our adult and teen children to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Each having their own bathroom and private bedroom areas. It’s a little off the beaten path which we loved! (That’s why you get the amazing views!) Was accessible to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We found both Wear’s Valley and Townsend charming as well. Ron was absolutely fantastic!! Communication was top notch. Easy check-in and check out. Cabin was well stocked and clean. Hot tub was nice, big, and had wonderful views as well. Definitely looking forward to our next stay

Beautiful location, excellent host

The property is beautiful and well-maintained. It is on the side of a mountain with spectacular views. The roads to the cabin are winding as they climb the mountain but they are well-maintained and easy to maneuver, even in a driving thunderstorm. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and has plenty to occupy the attention of adults and children. Ron and Katia also have a membership to a members-only pool about 10 minutes away...much appreciated during the severe heatwave we experienced while visiting. The three bedrooms and two bed loft were very comfortable and the four bathrooms clean, functional, and more than adequate. Ron was very responsive and easy to work with on the few questions we had. He was very pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Family Retreat

We had a great time at the cabin. We enjoyed the family time. The scenery was absolutely beautiful! The cabin was as described and suited all of our needs and wants. The host was very good about responding to any questions or concerns that we had. The only thing that I would say negatively would be the description of the amount of steps and the room for vehicles to park/turn around…it WAS in the description but I feel it should have been at the top of the list. Be careful at the base of the driveway as well as considering that you will drag your car and even suv. Other than that everything else was spot on. Thanks for everything!

“Way Beyond” Expectations

We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Such a beautiful space - even better than could be captured by the photos. The view of the Smoky Mountains was absolutely breathtaking. We were a family of 8 (7 adults and 1 teenager) and we had space galore and were very comfortable. So many games to play and places to hangout- so easy to stay in and enjoy family time. The fireplaces were a big hit - so cozy. The drive up the mountain is easy as long as you take it slow. We were intimidated by the driveway at first but we just dropped into low gear and it was no big issue after that. Ron was very responsive to questions and made sure everything was in order when we checked in. Great customer service throughout our stay!!! This cabin is definitely top on our list for the Smoky Mountains. We will definitely visit again.
