With three bedrooms, a hot tub, games, stunning outdoor spaces, and scenic views for miles, it’s the perfect place for the whole family. The great location offers easy access to the national park. It is close to all the action of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet still far enough away to enjoy a peaceful mountain experience.

Please note:
1. Fresh linens and towels provided as well as a starter pack of k-cups, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. Hair dryer included in each bathroom.
2. Chalet has central heating and air conditioning. It is on well water (with a full softening system) and septic.
3. Outdoor surveillance has four cameras facing the driveway, back, front and side of the property.
4. Use of maintenance closet, owner's closets and crawl space are not permitted.
5. There is a 3% credit card processing fee for all cancellations. That means your refund will be 97% of the original booking amount if cancelled at least 30 days before check in.
6. $300 security deposit hold (refundable assuming no damages) and signature on the rental agreement are required for booking. The terms in the rental agreement are not negotiable so please inquire if you'd like to read it before booking. Check in details, including the cabin access code, will not be provided until this step is complete.
7. A late check out fee of $100 per every 30 minutes past 10:00am EST will be assessed to guests who do not check out on time. Standard check out time is 10:00am EST.
8. Host promptly responds daily between 9am and 9pm. Messages outside these hours may experience a longer response time.

Potter's House

We enjoyed this cabin so much! We have stayed at 2 other cabins in this area within the last 6 months and this was by far the best, we highly recommend it. Our grandkids spent the night with us and they loved it!

Scenic retreat

Host was always quick to respond with any questions or concerns. The home is in a beautiful setting and everything is as pictured. The Two General stores nearby are fun and inexpensive. Elvira’s is great for breakfast. Lots of birds. The deck is so enjoyable to sit on every evening to watch stars or storms. Highly recommend. Great for families of all ages. So much to see and do. Wish we could have stayed longer. Book without hesitation.

Loved loved loved! Gameroom was a hit with all the ages. Warm nostalgic vibe reminded me of Grandmas house in a milk and cookies and fresh apple pie kind of way. Great deck space to enjoy the view and share memorable moments with family and friends Plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around too. Will definitely be coming back! burn some energy

The views from the porch were amazing. The layout of the property was perfect - open concept, spacious and relaxing. Property was close enough to all the attractions yet far enough away to be peaceful. Hot tub and pool table were added benefits. Andrea was super helpful with tips, places to visit and always responsive. Wish this was a property we owned!!!!!!

Amazing chalet!

I am so glad that we chose to stay at the Potter house - it did not disappoint! It is in a perfect location with an outstanding view. Centrally located for everything we were looking to do! Not to mention, there is so much to do at the house itself - we were never bored! Andrea (property manager) was absolutely incredible. She was so responsive and made everything super easy and convenient! I would 100% recommend this location to anyone looking to take on a new adventure!

Wonderful family vacation at Potters House

Wow! This property is so great! Absolutely perfect for our group of 6 adults and one child. The location is everything we could’ve hoped for… close enough to get out and explore but quiet enough to relax in the evening (and some mornings!) The property is exactly as pictured and then some. The perfect space to gather for a meal or games while also being spread out enough for some privacy or to do your own thing. Our host Andrea was very easy to reach and always responded quickly. We took full advantage of the breathtaking views, open floor plan and super comfy beds! Cannot recommend Potters House enough and would absolutely love to visit again!

Excellent Place!

Everything was as seen in the pictures and advertised. It was a very comfortable place to hang out for a few days. We would definitely consider staying there again. The sunrise was outstanding. A few things to consider: the water pressure is quite low, presumably because of the well water pump, the linens (sheets and bath towels) are not white, and there is a bit of road noise. None of these things were enough to reduce the rating. If the place had not been so clean, I might have been bothered more about the linens, but I just tried to ignore it. Pure white is common in the hospitality industry and it makes it very easy for guests to check cleanliness. I highly recommend this place.

Convenient location and good view but unclean

We enjoyed the location and view at this cabin, but it was old/outdated and dirty. There was dried food around the edges of the table and counter and mountains of dust under the bunk beds (where my two- and three-year-olds were undoubtedly going to play). The showers were difficult to operate and the bathroom rugs were so dirty we didn’t want to step out of the shower onto them. The door knobs were sticky as were the table tops. The cleaning crew seemed to have done a very quick wipe down rather than a true cleaning before our arrival. I would definitely not recommend if you have small children who will be crawling around on the floors.

Awesome property

Loved the house. Such a perfect layout for our family and views of the mountain were fantastic. Only small downside is that the community pool referenced in the listing is not actually in the neighborhood by the house and their was no indication of where it actually was.

Family Vacation

Relaxing was long overdue for all of us. As soon as we arrived we felt at home. The views were amazing. There was something for everyone at Potters House Retreat. Location is perfect. We love staying in the Wears Valley area. This was our first time staying directly off the main road. It made it very easy to get out into town without mountain roads. We enjoyed our stay! And can’t wait to go back!!!
Watching the moonrise over the mountains from the deck was one of our favorite sites!

Nice place to stay and relax

The cabin is a great place to stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The view of the mountains from the patio is amazing. The communication with the host is very good, they gave us all the information you need when you need it and they will answer very fast to every request we had.We loved the beautiful decorations in the cabin and the details in every single room (everything is about the black bears).If you love animals, as we do, you get to see a lot of different birds, deers, bunnies and lady bugs around. The cleanliness was great when we checked in and we had plenty of supplies in the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms.The hot tub is located outside in a very beautiful patio so you can relax after enjoying all the activities around.It is definitely a very peaceful place to stay and enjoy.

Lovely time away with family

This was a great house for our family trip. Clean, comfy, homey feeling with plenty of space for our whole crew. We loved the views from the patio! We enjoyed being close to town for all the fun, but far enough away to enjoy the peace of the country. The kids really liked the pool and the game room. Host was very good with communication during our stay.

Perfect Smokey Mtn Stay

Stunning views, quiet yet convenient location, and rustic cabin charm. It’s the total package. New kitchen and bathroom renovations are beautiful and make this chalet compete with new builds - but this place has a charm they could never compete with. Seriously among the best views in the entire area. Host was very impressive and so communicative, made everything even better.

Living on mountain time

Beautiful views! Some of the best ever! Great location. Loved the cabin, plenty of room. Spent most of our time in the game room. Lots of deck space outside to take in those wonderful views!
