About this property

Smoky Mountain Cabin | Hot Tub + Pool Table

  • Watch the sun drop behind the Smokies from the deck or the private hot tub. Across dozens of reviews, that view is what guests remember most about Ridgefield, a cathedral-ceiling cabin in Sevierville's Sky Harbor neighborhood that pairs real mountain seclusion with an easy drive to everything: approximately 6 miles to Gatlinburg, 6 miles to The Island in Pigeon Forge, and 7 miles to Dollywood.

The cabin blends traditional mountain character with the practical amenities families actually use. Spend the day at the attractions, then come home for a game of pool, a soak in the hot tub, dinner from the propane grill, or a slow evening around the propane fire pit under the string lights. More than one group has looked up from the deck to find a bear ambling past at a respectful distance; wildlife keeps its own schedule, but this neighborhood is squarely in its territory.

SPACE FOR FAMILIES AND SMALL GROUPS
Ridgefield sleeps up to 8 and is most comfortable for about 6. Adults get privacy in the main-level king suite with its own bathroom and a pull-out sleeper chair, while kids and teens claim the stairs-only loft with a king and a queen. Two full bathrooms keep mornings moving.

    AT THE CABIN
    • Private hot tub with mountain views
    • Wood-burning fireplace under cathedral ceilings, with guards provided
    • Pool table, arcade game, game console, and board games
    • 75-inch HDTV plus additional large TVs
    • Fully equipped kitchen with both drip and Keurig coffee makers
    • Propane fire pit and grill, reserved for this cabin's guests
    • String-lit deck with outdoor dining
    • In-unit washer and dryer, fast Wi-Fi, and a private EV charger

GETTING HERE IS PART OF THE VIEW
The roads to Ridgefield are fully paved, with mountain curves and switchbacks near the end; standard cars handle it comfortably, and we send written turn-by-turn directions that guests specifically thank us for. The short driveway itself is unpaved and easygoing.

    RECENT GUEST FEEDBACK
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 2026 | Stayed a few nights
We loved our stay! The cabin was clean and just far up enough to feel secluded. We enjoyed spending evenings on the deck after a day of activity. Cabin location was great and had a really nice open feel to it. We all had the best time!s because pots, pans, silverware, mixing bowls, knives, and colorful Fiesta Ware plates and bowls were of a higher quality I have yet to see in other rentals. Great time!

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 2026 | Stayed a few nights
Everything was just as it was presented online. The host gave plenty of instructions for what was expected of us. The specific directions to the address were also added. That was especially helpful! Check-in was super easy! The place was beautiful! We all enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table. Dishes were provided so that cooking was easy. The view from the deck was amazing! Extra blankets and pillows were a nice touch, as well. It's position between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was perfect, and so close to Dollywood! I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone!

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 2026 | Stayed with kids
Parker is a great host! From the day I booked with her until check out she made going on vacation with 4 kids (including an infant and toddler) so much easier. I only needed to contact her twice during our 5 night stay and she responded immediately. Not to mention the cabin we stayed in was beautiful and clean inside. The view from the cabin is breathtaking especially during sunset.

    A FEW PRACTICAL NOTES
The cabin runs on private well water, completely normal for this area and safe to drink, though it may taste a touch different from city water. This is bear country, so trash goes bagged into the bear-proof can. An entrance ramp sized for standard wheelchairs opens into the downstairs bathroom, an unusual route that guests with mobility needs have still found genuinely helpful; the loft remains stairs-only. Quiet hours run 10 PM to 8 AM. Cancellation terms follow the policy attached to your reservation, and we recommend travel insurance for every trip.

    ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
Ridgefield is part of Peacock Paradise Vacations, a family-run collection of homes my husband, Oz, and I personally love and care for. We want each stay to feel easy, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, so you can spend less time managing logistics and more time watching the ridge turn gold.

Overall a decent experience

First the location is okay but prepared yourself to drive up to a very steep hills and a very sharp turn in order to get to the cabin. You need to be extra careful if driving back to the cabin at night time. The cabin was clean, WiFi provided, and all things as described. The patio needed some updated on the furniture since they only two seating and all are moldy(we layer it with a towel before sitting). The views is not that bad with one side of the mountains views and the majority back up to a green tall trees. We had an accident when trying to put their an extra bed together since the lock on the pieces can no longer hold it together so when we pull the first part out the other parts fell off and hit my husband straight on his feet. Nearly broke his feet for the weight of the bed being super heavy. They don’t warn you but learn from us. It’s totally ruined our trip since he can’t drive after that and can nearly put any weight on the feet that injured so he had to stay back. We tried to contact the host to let them know so their future guest won’t have to experience this but didn’t get any response about it. It’s been over two weeks since we stayed there so here I warn you!!!
