About the cabin: Making Memories Too provides a 'home away from home' feel. It is beautifully decorated two-story cabin with no detail spared! The cabin features 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, a bonus room (like a den) featuring a day bed with trundle which sleeps two. It is perfect for a children's room. There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. A pool table/game area is located in the upstairs loft. There are a total of 4 TV's in the cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, microwave, and coffee pot. Outside, the cabin has a convenient wrap around deck with a hot tub for 6 people, a charcoal grill, picnic table, and rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings. The cabin sits on an almost 1/2 acre leveled yard, perfect for the children to run around in! Three cars can comfortably park on its driveway.

Nearest city: Pigeon Forge: Barely five minutes away from the excitement, shopping and superb attractions of Pigeon Forge, including the world - renowned Dollywood/Splash Country, Titanic, Dixie's Stampede, Black Bear Jamboree, Wonderworks. Plus a myriad of dinner theaters; such as, The Miracle Theatre, The Comedy Barn, & Tennessee Shindig. In addition, other attractions such as horseback riding, zip lines, mini-golf, white-water rafting, and go-carts. There are many restaurants and shopping, including the famous Christmas Place and Tanger outlet stores.

Gatlinburg: About 15 minutes away is the world renowned city of Gatlinburg! Gatlinburg is adjacent to the Smoky Mountain National Park. It is a picturesque city with many attractions, shopping and restaurants. The attractions include the famous Ripley's Aquarium and other Belive It or Not museums, theaters, and attractions. It is also home to Ober Ski Resort, various ski lifts and the Arial Tramway to enjoy the mountain sights and ski resort. Plus various mini-golfs are found here. Many outdoor activities like horseback riding, hiking, zip lines, snowboarding, camping, biking, rafting, birdwatching, and leaf season are part of the many activities enjoyed in Galinburg and in the Smoky Mountains.

Making memories too
The cabin was very nice. Close enough to everything pigeon forge has to offer but at the same time far enough away to enjoy some quiet time. Loved the porch to drink coffee on in the mornings. We had a great time, would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends going to the area.

The cabin was beautiful and it was Very clean. Never ran out of hot water, even with five people. I would highly recommend this property for a family. It’s the only thing we didn’t like was the traffic noise from the nearby road

Arrived in Pigeon Forge a little road weary for sure, to a beautiful cabin. It was very well maintained and just as pictured! Very relaxing, quiet, absolutely loved the wrap around porch! Had plenty of space for everyone to find a quiet spot to relax! Of course we decided to vacay in the middle of a heatwave so our only concern was the vents upstairs did not work, produced o cool air for those two bedrooms so we left the doors open and they froze me downstairs!!! I would definitely return for another visit here regardless! We did not contact anyone about this issue so that’s on us! Loved our home away from home!!!

Great cabin for a spring time respite from daily life.
The cabin was as described, we loved the whole place. It made for a memorable vacation. My wife, our daughter, and our niece and nephew fully enjoyed the hot tub and all the amenities of the cabin. It was clean and orderly and well decorated to make you feel like you were in the mountains. To top it off we saw a bear off the back deck one morning before heading to the park for a day of hiking. Only disappointment was not having the gas grill that was shown in the pictures. Other than that the place was perfect.

Great cabin with one exception
First - the cabin and amenities are absolutely perfect for a stay in the area. But - the cabin is the first house in the community and there can be significant road noise from the nearby main road. Enough so that conversation is disrupted while sitting on the wonderful porches and can wake light sleepers. Aside from that, the location is a perfect distance from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, where you get a slower pace than the main areas, but are still no more than 15 minutes from anywhere. The kitchen had everything needed and was in working order, and the hot tub is great for relaxing after a busy day.

Bathroom door locks didn’t work. One person took a shower all hot water was gone. Bed mattress on bottom floor was terrible. Second floor mattress wasn’t much better. There was not enough lighting in the bedrooms r bathroom. The heater and fireplace worked great.

Lovely cabin
My husband and my three stepchildren spent Christmas 2023 at this cabin. It was very cutely decorated, and the property was beautiful. We were expecting the cabin to be decorated a bit for Christmas (not over the top or anything), but it was not, so for other Christmas visitors, you might want to bring your own decorations if that is important to you. You may want to also buy a few disposable baking/roasting pans as I did not see any if you’re planning on cooking during your visit. The cabin was a bit tight for four adults and one teenager, but we knew that would be a possibility from the listing, and we had a delightful time anyway. The one thing you may not be aware of from the listing is how close the property is to a main road. I couldn’t tell from the pictures, but the cabin is in a neighborhood of other cabins, and it’s the first one as you pull in, so you are very close to the main road and you could hear traffic quite a bit if the TV wasn’t going. With that being said, it was very central to everything we wanted to do, so the location is great. Overall very nice property, and I would recommend it as a good place to stay if you’re visiting.

Enjoyed staying at this cabin. The drive was not bad at all to the cabin. Everything was clean. The only thing was the thermostat you cannot control it and we had an elderly that was cold in the house other than that it was awesome and definitely will be staying back there in the future. Very good contact with the renter no problem at all.

Lovely Holiday Away
My family has stayed in four different cabins in the Smokies. This one was, by far, the best one for our family. Everything was clean and in good working order when we arrived. The downstairs was open a spacious. Great kitchen and a really big dining table. (We prepared and ate our Thanksgiving meal there.) Three covered porches and a hot tub provided relaxing entertainment on rainy days. The upstairs bedrooms and loft were nice, as well. And only 10 minutes drive from Dollywood. We will definitely book this cabin again!
