We were given a room with handicap accessibility, but which had a tub shower with an available chair for in-tub use. She read some information and began to apologize, saying that she had had no idea that any handicap room had a tub in the bathroom instead of a walk-in. Please be sure that the staff members who assign rooms completely understand the handicap accessibility factors for each room. My handicapped family member missed being able to take a shower during this stay, as they could not step up and get into the tub. It created discomfort and embarrassment. "
