"The property is exactly as pictured, and the host provided everything we needed to enjoy the house and amenities for 4 full days. The wind was heavy some days which made it hard to launch and stay balanced on the kayaks, but Sunday was calmer and we enjoyed using the canoe. We relaxed a lot sitting on the dock right by the water, and using the hot tub. And you can’t beat the lake view from the house and evening sunsets. I highly recommend it."

We were satisfied, however, with the food options. Room came with a complimentary bottle of wine and a coupon for a free wine tasting."

"A group of us stayed at the chalet for a mother-daughter weekend at the beginning of June. The home is beautiful and spacious. It is extremely clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. I had forgotten to bring a grinder for my coffee beans and filters for the coffee machine and had despaired of finding either, especially the grinder, in the kitchen but I was wrong. Both were stocked. The sink in the first floor bathroom was slow draining and when I informed Paul he sent someone right over to take care of it. Check in instructions were very clear and sent to me in a timely manner. I highly recommend renting this home. You won’t be disappointed"

"We had a family reunion with eleven family members ranging from 24 to 87 years old. We were concerned about accessibility for the octogenarians, ages 83 and 87, both of whom walk with canes, but the porch was beautiful and the few stairs down to the yard and the walk (about 50 yards) to the lake were quite manageable for them. There were plenty of chairs on the porch, so that was a nice place to sit and chat as a family. The owner who was very communicative, sending a delivery of toilet paper and paper towels and offering to drop off another table during our stay. Thanks for that. He had just put in new flowers around the porch which were lovely. We had hoped to rent a boat but the weather conspired and the dock was not in place yet since it was early in the season. Some electrical problems in the house made outlets in one bedroom not work - two engineers among the family checked the panel and all, but it wasn’t something that was easily solved. Extension cords saved the day! The views were beautiful, especially of the sunset, and games of frisbee and cornhole were nice family activities. It was nice to watch a mourning dove sit on her nest - see photos! Parking was plentiful. All in all, a good trip!"

"There were 7 women on a girls getaway in May and we had a blast. The location is at a great spot for us to get to wineries and to go hiking. It has a great view as well. Anything we needed at the house was there which was great."

"Hidden gem located in the picturesque backdrop of the Finger Lakes with the most stunningly spectacular sunsets!The place was spotless, well appointed with everything you need for making your own charcuterie or dinner complete with charcoal grill and your very own fire pit.Oh and let’s not forget about the private hot tub….. Cheers!"
