"The place was absolutely disgusting! From entry way, to the hallways, and our room. The entry way and hallways smelled disgusting. I don’t think they’ve seen a vacuum in the last month nor a carpet cleaner ever! The room was so outdated, that it reminded me of a room from the 90’s. The carpet had never been cleaned, with a vacuum or carpet cleaner. It was stained and sticky. We actually bought cheap flip flops so we could walk in the room without our shoes. The shower and vanity was not wiped down and I don’t think it had ever been wiped down with a cleaner. We used sanitary wipes before we used anything. The bathroom fan was not functional. The bed mattress was sunken in, in the middle. There was loud ticking noises all night long and if anyone walked down the hallway, the sound came into your room due to the gap under the door. There are long term residence living in this place. The front desk clerk had their family hanging out in the check in area while they are working. Unfortunately, I was in Ionia for a race and there isn’t many options! I would have left if there were other options. I will not stay at this place ever again. Nor would I recommend this place."
