"We had a weekend at this property to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. There were 10 adults and 4 dogs.We had a fabulous time. The property is beautiful, plenty of space for us all, a wonderful enclosed garden for the dogs, the weather was great so we were able to use the pool and hot tub. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were great at communicating with us, and Timo was extremely helpful and easy going.We didn't want to leave and would certainly hope...

The welcome, the design, it’s so clean and comfy, every detail has been carefully chosen and it is all so well put together. My only regret is I only booked two nights!! "We stopped from 7th July to 11th July this year 2025. We had a lovely break in the Durley Dean, its clean and tidy and the staff are first class, very friendly. Ok its dated but its Victorian. The bus stops are 200 yards away from the hotel entrance in the direction of Bournemouth and the buses are frequent to lots of local towns and resorts. We were out every day going to somewhere. Swanage, Poole, Westbourne and Christchurch. We would go again. Thank you Durley Dean"

The Bridge House, BW Signature Collection

"It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!"

Nice hotel, wonderful location

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff in great location. It has recently been taken over by new management and they are planning on tidying it up, which it needs in some areas. (For example frayed carpet on stairs.) But the room was comfortable and we were upgraded for free to a bigger room as there was space. Trevor and Scott were both ver helpful. Location perfect and next to some great restaurants and bars."
